A classification based notification system is disclosed which performs operations that include: accessing user profile data associated with a user account associated with a client device, the user profile data including a list of user connections; designating a notification type to a portion of the list of user connections, the notification type corresponding to an alert attribute; receiving a notification from a user connection from among the portion of the list of user connections at the client device; and presenting an alert based on the alert attribute that corresponds with the notification type associated with the portion of the list of user connections at the client device.

The method also includes providing vehicle information which is representative of vehicle functions and dependencies therebetween. If first request information from the first occupant for a first vehicle function, and second request information from the second occupant for a second vehicle function are captured, then, based at least partly on the vehicle information, the first request information and the second request information, it is ascertained whether the first and second requests have a correlation such that prioritization should take place with regard to execution of the first and second vehicle functions. If the correlation exists, then first proposal information is ascertained representing a way in which priority is to be given with regard to the execution of the first and second vehicle functions. The vehicle functions are executed accordingly.

A system and method for processing a multiple data controller workflow fully honors data subject opt-outs but nevertheless takes advantage of the synergy of the combined data from multiple controllers to improve the effectiveness of messaging. A data services provider performs data resolution processing against the data from each data controller. Using the results of the resolution processing, opt-out lists that are in different formats and that may track different sorts of data may all be used for the joint campaign. Metadata is added to the data so that the source data controller is tracked through the processing. The data is then combined, resulting in a master opt-out list. If a data subject has opted out with respect to any controller, then the opt-out is applied to the joint campaign.

A computer implemented method for managing charge availability of a charge unit (CU) to obtain charge for a battery of an electric vehicle (EV) is provided. The CU includes a computer for processing at least part of the method and for communicating with a server over a network. The method includes receiving, by the server, status information from the computer of the CU. The method includes sending to the computer of the CU instructions to make a reservation for the CU. The reservation is for a user account that has requested a desire to charge the battery of the electric vehicle of the user at the CU or another CU. The method includes sending, by the server, a confirmation for the reservation to the user account. The confirmation is viewable via a device having access to the server via the user account. The method includes sending, by the server, a data regarding a time of availability of the CU to the user account for the reservation. The computer of the CU is configured to display a visual indicator regarding the reservation of the CU.
