PROXIED PUSH
A system and method are described for establishing two-way push communication between an intermediate or companion device and a mobile device. Mobile devices register to listen for push notifications delivered through a push notification service from a specified set of providers. The presence of the mobile devices is delivered to the push notification service that maps the mobile devices to connections made between their respective companion devices and the push notification service. If the push notification service determines that a mobile device is “online,” in response to receiving a push notification for the mobile device, a current network connection over which a companion device is listening for push notifications is identified and the push notification is forwarded to the companion device. The companion device then can deliver the push notification to the mobile device.
COMPUTER DATA SYSTEM DATA SOURCE REFRESHING USING AN UPDATE PROPAGATION GRAPH
Described are methods, systems and computer readable media for data source refreshing.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVERSATION DISCOVERY
Embodiments of a system and method for sharing content across a social network can include: receiving content (e.g., a content update) for a content channel (e.g., at a channel node of a set of remote channel nodes); assigning a content identifier to the content; transmitting the content with the content identifier to a user account associated with the content channel; and modifying the content channel with the content based on the content identifier.
Multi-client service system platform
The present disclosure is directed to various ways of improving the functioning of computer systems, information networks, data stores, search engine systems and methods, and other advantages. Among other things, provided herein are methods, systems, components, processes, modules, blocks, circuits, sub-systems, articles, and other elements (collectively referred to in some cases as the “platform” or the “system”) that collectively enable, in a single database and system, the development and maintenance of a set of universal contact objects that relate to the contacts of a business and that have attributes that enable use for a wide range of activities, including sales activities, marketing activities, service activities, content development activities, and others, as well as improved methods and systems for sales, marketing and services that make use of such universal contact objects.

TECHNIQUES FOR IMPLEMENTING ROLLBACK OF INFRASTRUCTURE CHANGES IN A CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE ORCHESTRATION SERVICE
Techniques for implementing rollback of infrastructure changes in an infrastructure orchestration service are described. In certain examples, an infrastructure orchestration service is disclosed that manages both provisioning and deploying of infrastructure assets within a cloud environment. The service receives a plan comprising a set of instructions associated with a set of infrastructure assets of an execution target and identifies a first state of the set of infrastructure assets. The service executes the set of instructions in the plan to achieve a second state for the set of infrastructure assets. Based in part on the executing, the service receives a trigger for rolling back the plan to restore the set of infrastructure assets in the plan to the first state and executes a rollback plan for the plan. The service then transmits a result associated with the execution of the rollback plan.

Determining whether a user in a social network is an authority on a topic
A method involving obtaining a first plurality of topic groups (TGs), each having a membership of accounts, identifying a first plurality of accounts as authorities for an expertise topic, obtaining a second plurality of TGs with a number of accounts as members, wherein the first plurality of TGs comprises the second plurality of TGs, identifying a first frequent account which is a member in at least one of the second plurality of TGs, adding the first frequent account to the authorities of the expertise topic to obtain a second plurality of accounts as the authorities of the expertise topic, determining a third plurality of TGs in which a second number of accounts from the second plurality of accounts are members, determining that another frequent account is a member in one of the third plurality of TGs, and obtaining a ranking of accounts that are an authority on the expertise topic.

DISTRIBUTED NETWORK ADDRESS DISCOVERY IN NON-UNIFORM NETWORKS
Distributed network address discovery in non-uniform node networks can be performed. Regarding a client request for a service, network management component (NMC) can determine a network address space associated with a client based on a network identifier associated with the client or a node identifier. NMC can determine a group of candidate nodes (CN group) from a group of nodes based on network addresses associated with nodes of the node group and the network address space. NMC can determine a group of available candidate nodes (ACN group), from the CN group, available and able to process the request and perform the service based on operational statuses associated with the nodes of the CN group or services associated with those nodes. From the ACN group, NMC can determine a ranked list of network addresses associated with available nodes that can process the request based on defined service performance criteria.
