Routing incoming calls made to one or more unreachable numbers into a data client

A method and a call routing system (CRS) are provided for routing an incoming call made to one of multiple numbers of a user to a call receiving client application (CRCA) deployed on one or more user devices when the called number is not reachable. The CRS, in communication with the CRCA deployed on one or more user devices, sets up a user account using one or more of the user's multiple numbers. The CRS detects availability of the CRCA on one or more user devices over a data network to accept an incoming call. The CRS receives the incoming call made to one of the numbers, when the called number is not reachable. The CRS routes the incoming call to the CRCA on one or more user devices over the data network on detecting the availability of the CRCA on one or more user devices over the data network.

User identity determining method, apparatus, and device

A user identity determining method includes: acquiring target multidimensional feature information of a target user, wherein the target multidimensional feature information includes at least two types of feature information in at least one of biometric feature information or non-biometric feature information; comparing the target multidimensional feature information with multidimensional feature information of a plurality of designated users, respectively, to obtain a comparison result; and determining an identity of the target user based on the comparison result.

System and method for de-anonymizing actions and messages on networks

A traffic-monitoring system that monitors encrypted traffic exchanged between IP addresses used by devices and a network, and further receives the user-action details that are passed over the network. By correlating between the times at which the encrypted traffic is exchanged and the times at which the user-action details are received, the system associates the user-action details with the IP addresses. In particular, for each action specified in the user-action details, the system identifies one or more IP addresses that may be the source of the action. Based on the IP addresses, the system may identify one or more users who may have performed the action. The system may correlate between the respective action-times of the encrypted actions and the respective approximate action-times of the indicated actions. The system may hypothesize that the indicated action may correspond to one of the encrypted actions having these action-times.

A cellular device is used to make a first HTTP request to a host. The host returns a token to the cellular device. The cellular device sends a second HTTP request to a cellular data network in response to receiving the token. The cellular data network header-enriches the second HTTP request with the MSISDN of the cellular device and forwards the second request to the host.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA FOR NON-INTERNET PROTOCOL (NON-IP) DATA DELIVERY BETWEEN USER EQUIPMENT (UEs) AND MULTIPLE APPLICATION SERVERS (ASs)

A method for mobile originated (MO) non-Internet protocol data delivery (NIDD) to plural application servers (ASs) includes creating an AS group NIDD context record at an exposure function node for an AS group including a plurality of ASs to receive MO NIDD communications from a same UE. The method further includes receiving, at the exposure function node, a request for creating a single packet data network (PDN) connection with the exposure function node on behalf of the UE. The method further includes updating the AS group NIDD context record to include PDN connection information for the single PDN connection. The method further includes receiving, at the exposure function node and over the single PDN connection, MO NIDD data from the UE. The method further includes distributing, from the exposure function node and using the AS group NIDD context record, the MO NIDD data to each of the plural ASs identified as members of the group in the AS group NIDD context record.

Mobile phone as a one-way recorded transmitter over a cellular network

Agencies oftentimes desire to monitor personnel in the field during the course of their duties. To provide flexible monitoring capabilities to agencies, a common mobile device such as a mobile phone is converted for use as a radio-based listening system to collect and transmit audio data. Phone features and accessories are leveraged to collect additional data for transmission. Collected data is streamed or otherwise transmitted to monitoring devices at the agency or in the field for operational oversight and recordation.

Emergency services support for non-cellular wireless access

Apparatus and methods to support emergency services sessions by network elements and by a wireless device are disclosed. The wireless device, when roaming to a visited country/region, queries a network-based server to obtain information for Public Land Mobile Networks (PLMNs) that support emergency services sessions via non-cellular wireless access in the visited country/region. The network-based server responds with a list of PLMNs from which the wireless device selects a PLMN. The wireless device further queries the network-based server to obtain information for evolved Packet Data Gateways (ePDGs) for a selected PLMN and receives from the network-based server a list of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for ePDGs that support emergency services sessions via non-cellular wireless access for the selected PLMN. The wireless device further queries the network-based server for local numbers of the visited country for establishing emergency services sessions and receives a categorized list of local numbers for emergency services.
