Method and system for identifying a user over an internet protocol connection
A technique to deliver Personally Identifiable Information (PIT) of a first subscriber from the plurality of subscribers that reside in a private network toward a first server from the plurality of IP servers that reside in a public network wherein the first server is involved in at least one transaction with the first subscriber is disclosed. In addition a Network-Address Translator (NAT) is used in order to allocate to the first subscriber a public IP address. Further, the communication between the first subscriber and the first IP server is encrypted. An example embodiment of the disclosed technique may impersonate the first subscriber and send the PII over an impersonated packet.
SELECTING CONTENT TRANSMISSIONS BASED ON ENCODING PARAMETERS
Methods and systems for providing content are disclosed. An example method can comprise receiving an encoding parameter associated with a first content transmission. The encoding parameter can indicate a level of complexity to encode the first content transmission. The method can comprise selecting, based on the encoding parameter, a second content transmission. The second content transmission can be encoded at a second bit rate that is different than a first bit rate of the first content transmission. The method can also comprise generating a third content transmission. The third content transmission can comprise the second content transmission.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ZERO-TOUCH BULK IDENTITY ASSIGNMENT, PROVISIONING AND NETWORK SLICE ORCHESTRATION FOR MASSIVE IOT (MIOT) DEPLOYMENTS
In one illustrated example, automated or semi-automated system operations for Massive IoT (MIoT) deployment may involve the automatic assignment of external IDs, subscriber IDs (e.g. IMSIs), and mobile network IDs (e.g. MSISDNs) to IoT devices of a group, followed by the provisioning of assigned identities at the relevant network nodes and the IoT devices themselves. The process may continue seamlessly with network slice orchestration for the creation of a network slice instance (NSI) and the provisioning of its associated Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (NSSAI) and NSI ID at the relevant network nodes. Network Slice Selection Policies (NSSP) may be derived and sent to a policy function and subsequently to IoT devices of the group. Signaling efficiency may be achieved by performing operations on a group basis.
Session initiation protocol (SIP) based user initiated handoff
Method and apparatus for providing a solution to the handoff problem includes negotiation of new media codes (coders/decoders) for utilization in cases where the two devices involved in the handoff are incompatible. Although mobile IP (MIP) is presently utilized to perform handoff procedures, this technique lacks a trigger mechanism to initiate handoff between two different devices which communicate with two different networks or one common network. In addition, MIP does not address the issue of compatibilities between media types, codes and supported bit rate. The handoff utilizes a session protocol (SIP) message for handoff.
SESSION CONTROL LOGIC WITH INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP)-BASED ROUTING
Disclosed is an architecture that distributes session control logic across multiple points of a telecommunications network. Also disclosed are techniques and systems using Internet Protocol (IP)-based routing to establish communication sessions. A user equipment (UE) may receive user input to initiate a communication session, derive a destination IP address, generate a session request having at least the destination IP address, and send the session request a server. The server may receive the session request from the UE, replace the destination IP address in the session request with an IP address of an endpoint device to generate a modified session request, and route the modified session request to the endpoint device based at least in part on the IP address of the endpoint device.
ENUM/DNS Server, ENUM/DNS System, and Control Method For ENUM/DNS System
[Problem] An ENUM/DNS system with enhanced processing efficiency is provided.
[Solution] Provided is an ENUM/DNS system 100 including an ENUM/DNS client 20 that performs a connection destination information query indicating a connection destination associated with a telephone number of a destination terminal added to a connection request transmitted from an originating terminal, and an ENUM/DNS server 10 that receives the connection destination information query and outputting the connection destination as a connection destination information query response. The ENUM/DNS server 10 includes a determination unit configured to determine an attribute of the originating terminal based on the connection destination information query, and a conversion unit configured to convert a SIP domain included in REGEXP of the connection destination information query response to a SIP domain indicating the connection destination based on the attribute.
INITIATING A BUSINESS MESSAGING SESSION
A device implementing a system for initiating a business messaging session includes at least one processors configured to receive a selection of a telephone number on a device. The at least one processor is further configured to transmit an encoded identifier corresponding to the telephone number to a server. The at least one processor is further configured to determine whether the telephone number is registered for a business messaging system based at least in part on a response received from the server. The at least one processor is further configured to provide a first display element for initiating communication with the telephone number via the business messaging system when the telephone number is registered for the business messaging system, otherwise providing a second display element for initiating communication with the telephone number via a user messaging system.
IDENTITY AND PHONE NUMBER VERIFICATION
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for receiving, from a computer system, a request comprising a phone number, identifying a primary channel and one or more secondary channels based on, at least in part, respective performance data of the primary and secondary channels, sending a first message comprising a first text string via the primary channel to a destination device associated with the phone number, after sending the first message, determining that a conversion event for the message and the primary channel did not occur within a specified time period, and based on the determining, sending a second message comprising the first text string via a particular secondary channel to the destination device.
Method for requesting transportation services
A method for safely and efficiently requesting transportation services through the use of mobile communications devices capable of geographic location is described. Individual and package transportation may be provided. New customers may be efficiently serviced, and the requester and transportation provider locations may be viewed in real time on the mobile devices.
SMS technology for computerized devices
A method and system for delivering SMS and MMS messages from a mobile telephone to devices having addresses on an Internet Protocol network are provided. In an embodiment of the invention a device having an IP address and a Media Access Control (MAC) address is registered on a network router and a telephone number is associated with the registered device on the router, such that when the router receives an SMS or MMS message for the telephone number associated with the device the router retrieves the IP address for the device and routes the message to the device.
