System and method for mobile data top-up
A system and method for providing top-up of mobile data, by processing one or more transactions between a data sponsor and a data beneficiary who is possibly being served by multiple data providers. The top-up can be based on i) an application program interface (API) call being made into the mobile network operator of a data user or ii) an API call being made into a sponsored data (SD) platform/system (SDS) to allocate a quota to the data user, among other possible product options. In the first option, provisioning of the data quota and consumption against the quota is managed directly by the mobile network operator itself. In the second option, allocation of the quota and consumption against the quota is managed by the SDS and an SD control app. The system can select a particular option because that option best meets one or more business goals or rules.
TELEPHONE NUMBER SELECTION
An example method of assigning a telephone number to a user account in a communications system is provided. The method includes obtaining a mnemonic seed and obtaining a subset of telephone numbers filtered from a global telephone number pool based on the mnemonic seed. The alphanumeric representation of each telephone number in the subset is within a threshold Hamming distance of the mnemonic seed. The method further includes receiving an indication of a selected telephone number from the subset and assigning the selected telephone number to the user account.
System and Method for Allocation And Management Of Shared Virtual Numbers
Aspects of the present disclosure provide a system and method in which allocation and management of shared virtual numbers is achieved. In an embodiment, a request is received from an external server, over a network, for allocation and de-allocation of virtual numbers among agents and customers. Thereafter, a first virtual number is allocated and mapped between a first agent and a first customer, and the same first virtual number is also allocated and mapped between a second agent and a second customer. Such allocation and mapping enables communication between corresponding agents and customers. In addition to the allocation, a number may also be de-allocated. For example, the first virtual number mapping between the first agent and first customer can be de-allocated, thereby deactivating the first virtual number for a predetermined time, during which time the first virtual number is not allocated to another combination of a customer and an agent.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VERIFIED MESSAGING VIA SHORT-RANGE TRANSCEIVER
Systems and methods for verified messaging through the interaction involving a short-range transceiver, such as a contactless card, a client device and a server are presented. Verified messaging may be provided in the context of using a client device to receive a user identifier from the user's short-range transceiver, such as a contactless card, and sending a messaging request with the user identifier to a server, which may look up client device information and compare with data about the client device accompanying the request. Matching received client device information to stored client device data based on a user identifier obtained from a short-range transceiver provides an enhanced ability to verify that the client device corresponds to the user associated with the short-range transceiver.
METHOD OF SERVICE IDENTIFICATION IN ENUM STRUCTURE
The claimed technical solution is used in the field of electronic communications, namely it refers to methods of identification and receipt of information about the service on the basis of requests made through electronic communications networks. In particular, this technical solution applies to the E.164 NUmber Mapping system (ENUM) and the possibility of using in this system the services defined in the resource records of domain names in ENUM, if such services are not known in advance according to IANA Enumservice Registrations. It is proposed to create a service registry, which must meet the following conditions: each service has at least one original, unique identifier and mapped to this identifier internet addresses and metadata for service processing. Using this unique identifier, the Internet addresses and metadata for the corresponding service are retrieved from the service registry based on the corresponding request.
Systems and methods for personalized text message marketing
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are configured to transmit a communication to a first computing device associated with a first person, wherein the communication includes an indication that the communication is from a phone number. A response to the communication is received from the first computing device. The response is routed to a second computing device associated with a second person and a second phone number. A reply to the response is received from the second computing device. The reply is transmitted to the first computing device, wherein the reply includes an indication that the reply is from the phone number.
Multiple device and multiple line connected home and home monitoring
Systems, devices, and techniques for multiple device and multiple line enabled computing devices and computing appliances are described herein. A device number can be assigned to a computing device and can be unique to the computing device. A plurality of alias numbers can be provided to the computing device and enabled for use by the computing device. Alias numbers can be enabled on multiple computing appliances, such that a user can transfer voice or video calls between devices using the alias numbers. Further, monitoring components in a home environment, for example, can be associated with one or more alias number so that security alerts can be provided to the various computing devices and computing appliances associated with the alias numbers.
Method and System for Connecting People in a Social Network
A system and method for connecting people in a social network using information from a user's digital address book. A social network member can friend a contact and be friended by a contact if she is in that contact's address book. An central server keeps track of friended members of the social network and contacts.
User identity determining method, apparatus, and device
A user identity determining method includes: acquiring target multidimensional feature information of a target user, wherein the target multidimensional feature information includes at least two types of feature information in at least one of biometric feature information or non-biometric feature information; comparing the target multidimensional feature information with multidimensional feature information of a plurality of designated users, respectively, to obtain a comparison result; and determining an identity of the target user based on the comparison result.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INTERCARRIER COMMUNICATION
A method includes receiving, at a network component of a first carrier network from a source device, a telephone number of a destination device configured to communicate via a second carrier network. The method further includes in response to a query message sent to a telephone number mapping device of an internetwork packet exchange network, receiving a name server record at the network component, the name server record indicating a domain name associated with a second telephone number mapping device of the second carrier network. The method also includes in response to the network component sending the domain name to a domain name server of the internetwork packet exchange network, receiving an Internet protocol address of the second telephone number mapping device. The method includes sending, from the network component to the second telephone number device, a second query message based on the Internet protocol address.
