NUMBER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, NUMBER MANAGEMENT METHOD, NUMBER MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND NUMBER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
A number management unit (11) of a number management system (1) generates a transaction using number portability information including a hashed telephone number and connection destination information, newly generates and approves a block using multiple transactions, and stores the block in a number database (13) as a blockchain. A number resolution unit (12) hashes a telephone number that is a query target using a hash function, searches transactions in a blockchain using the hashed telephone number as a key, and sends connection destination information corresponding to the telephone number that is the query target as a response.
Session control logic with internet protocol (IP)-based routing
Disclosed is an architecture that distributes session control logic across multiple points of a telecommunications network. Also disclosed are techniques and systems using Internet Protocol (IP)-based routing to establish communication sessions. A user equipment (UE) may receive user input to initiate a communication session, derive a destination IP address, generate a session request having at least the destination IP address, and send the session request a server. The server may receive the session request from the UE, replace the destination IP address in the session request with an IP address of an endpoint device to generate a modified session request, and route the modified session request to the endpoint device based at least in part on the IP address of the endpoint device.
Communication client manager
Techniques for designating non-native communication clients as the primary client for user equipment are discussed herein. A primary client can be the communication client designated to receive incoming communications for the user equipment. The user equipment may use the primary client to send, to a network device, a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) instance to set primary client. The SIP instance may include a primary designator and a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) associated with the client. The network device may store the information for the user equipment including the UUID and capability set. A second user equipment may poll the network device for the communications capabilities of the first user equipment before establishing a connection.
Systems and methods for configuring an application platform using resources of a network
A network device may determine, based on a provisioning request to host an application platform, a configuration of resources of a network for maintaining the application platform within the network. The network device may provision the resources to permit access to the application platform via a domain. The network device may receive, from a user device, a domain request that includes the domain, wherein the domain request is associated with configuring an application session between an application of the user device and the application platform. The network device may provide, to the user device, a response that includes an address of a host resource of the application platform, wherein the host resource is one of the resources. The network device may receive, from the user device, a session request that includes the address and may establish the application session between the user device and the host resource.
Electronic device and method for sending electronic data
An electronic device for sending electronic data includes an electricity-using target, a storage unit and a processing unit. The storage unit stores a first communication target identifier used to identify a first communication target under a first specific application communication protocol, and a second communication target identifier used to identify a second communication target under a second specific application communication protocol being different from the first specific application communication protocol. The processing unit accesses the first and the second communication target identifiers by means of the electricity-using target, sends the electronic data toward the first communication target based on the accessed first communication target identifier and the first specific application communication protocol, and sends the electronic data toward the second communication target based on the accessed second communication target identifier and the second specific application communication protocol.
ENUM/DNS server, ENUM/DNS system, and control method for ENUM/DNS system
An ENUM/DNS system with enhanced processing efficiency is provided. Provided is an ENUM/DNS system including an ENUM/DNS client that performs a connection destination information query indicating a connection destination associated with a telephone number of a destination terminal added to a connection request transmitted from an originating terminal, and an ENUM/DNS server that receives the connection destination information query and outputting the connection destination as a connection destination information query response. The ENUM/DNS server includes a determination unit configured to determine an attribute of the originating terminal based on the connection destination information query, and a conversion unit configured to convert a SIP domain included in REGEXP of the connection destination information query response to a SIP domain indicating the connection destination based on the attribute.
CALL CENTER MOBILE MESSAGING
A method and system enables communications with a call center via SMS/MMS and provides an additional communications channel to communicate with the call center in addition to voice, Internet email/IM chat and fax. The call center obtains location information and images from a customer using SMS messages and web pages via a messaging hub.
PROCESSING MESSAGES WITH A DEVICE SERVER OPERATING IN A TELEPHONE
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a computer-readable storage medium in a telephone having computer instructions to execute a web server application in the telephone. The web server application can be operable to detect an incoming plain old telephone service call, identify a calling party identifier from the incoming plain old telephone service call, and direct one of a plurality of devices detected by web server application to present the calling party identifier. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Internet protocol multimedia subsystem emergency calls for roaming user equipments
A method of operating a policy and charging rules function (“PCRF”) node to handle an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (“IMS”) emergency call can include receiving an identity request from a proxy call session control function (“P-CSCF”) of an IMS network. The identity request can include an internet protocol (“IP”) address for a user equipment (“UE”). The method can further include, responsive to receiving the identity request, determining one or more identifiers of the UE based on the IP address. The one or more identifiers are separate from the IP address. The method can further include, responsive to determining the one or more identifiers, transmitting an indication of the one or more identifiers of the UE to the P-CSCF.
DATA NETWORK NAME (DNN) MANIPULATION
A method of operating a core access and mobility management function (AMF) node configured to operate in a communications network includes receiving a protocol data unit (PDU) session request from user equipment (UE). The PDU session request includes a requested data network name (DNN). The method also includes determining if a trigger has been activated. The method further includes receiving a manipulated DNN or replacement DNN for the requested DNN in response to the trigger being activated.
