Calendar application views in landscape dual mode
A communication device comprising a microprocessor readable computer readable medium is provided that includes microprocessor executable instructions to alter displayed information based on screen orientation.
Display clipping on a multiscreen device
Embodiments are described for handling situations when a window or application is repositioned and clipped in a multi-screen device. In embodiments, if the window is repositioned such that it cannot be displayed entirely on one display, but would otherwise spillover or spill onto another display, the window or application is clipped. Such clipping is performed based on the size and location of the window and the size and location of the display.
Ring Case
A ring case includes: a main body; an engaging groove formed in the main body; and a ring-engaging body for engaging the engaging groove, and the ring-engaging body includes: a base for engaging rotatably the engaging groove, and a ring member configured to rotate with the base and engaging the base through a hinge so as to engage rotatably with the base. The ring member is fixed vertically with respect to the base. The engaging groove has a form of hollow circular band, and the base is provided with an engaging portion along an exterior circumferential surface of the base, so that the engaging portion is installed in the engaging groove. Embossing portions are formed along an exterior circumferential surface of the base, and depressed portions are formed inside the main body, so that when the base rotates the embossing portions are received into or extracted from the depressed portions.
Mobile terminal device
A mobile terminal device is disclosed. The device includes a display module, a communication module, a sound input module, a sound output module, a hold detection module and a control module. The communication module is configured to receive an incoming call. The sound input module is configured to receive sound from a user. The sound output module is configured to output sound of the call. The hold detection module is configured to detect that the mobile terminal device is held. The control module is configured to perform a process of notifying the caller that the user cannot take the call when the communication module receives an incoming call, the hold detection module detects that the mobile terminal device is held and then the hold detection module detects that the mobile terminal device is not held.
WRIST PHONE
A telecommunication device includes a casing, smart phone components disposed within the casing, two opposed flexible wrist grips having upper and lower surfaces, and a flexible screen disposed on the lower surfaces of the casing and the opposed flexible wrist grips and in communication with the smart phone components.
Mobile terminal, vapor chamber and preparation method thereof, and electronic device
A vapor chamber and a mobile terminal are provided. The vapor chamber comprises a first cover plate, a second cover plate, a housing including the first cover plate and the second cover plate, wherein the first cover plate and the second cover plate are connected to form a sealed cavity, a cooling medium, a capillary structure disposed in the sealed cavity, and a supporting structure extending from an inner surface of the housing to an internal space of the housing. A material of the first cover plate and the second cover plate is a high-strength composite material, wherein the high-strength composite material comprises a first material layer and a second material layer. The vapor chamber has light weight, small thickness and structural strength.
Location based data path selection
A wireless communication device is provided that includes a cellular telephony module to access a cellular network, a wireless communication module to access a non-cellular network, an antenna configured to be in wireless communication with a plurality of compatible and currently accessible communication networks including the cellular and non-cellular networks, a mobile location module operable to determine a current spatial location of the communication device, and a mobile network selector operable, based at least in part on the current spatial location of the communication device, to select a compatible and currently accessible communication network from among the plurality of compatible and currently accessible communication networks.
FOLDABLE USER COMMUNICATION DEVICE WITH LOW PROFILE PATCH ANTENNA FOR SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS
A communication device, method and computer program product enable satellite communication via a patch antenna incorporated into foldable device having two housings that form a housing assembly coupled at a hinge to pivot between folded and unfolded positions. The patch antenna is positioned at a back portion of the housing assembly and includes a ground plane, a substrate of low dielectric constant and low loss material positioned on the ground plane, and a conductive radiator patch positioned on the substrate. In response to identifying a trigger to execute a communications application, a controller of the communication device communicates, via a communications subsystem and the patch antenna, with a communications satellite. In one or more embodiments, a display is positioned on, but spaced inward from an outer edge of, the patch antenna to display information even while the housing assembly is in the folded position.
Handset states and state diagrams: open, closed transitional and easel
A multi-display device is adapted to turn on and off certain device functionality based on one or more of device state and triggers. These triggers include a transition trigger, an open trigger and a closed trigger. Furthermore, and based on one or more of these triggers and device state, the device can provide feedback to a user, such as visual feedback, audio feedback and vibration feedback to assist a user with determining when the device is changing state. The operation of the primary screen, secondary screen, system and feedback options are also described relative to the beginning and endpoint of the device transition. Furthermore, the trigger corresponding to a transitional trigger where primary and secondary screens have a certain angle orientation and the trigger corresponding to a trigger point where the primary and secondary screens have a second angle orientation relative to one another are described.
RECONFIGURABLE USER INTERFACE ELEMENTS
Methods and devices for configuring and displaying user interface elements of a multi-display device relative to a device state and/or device orientation. More particularly, the device is equipped with one or more sensors that facilitate the detectability of the relationship of the primary screen to the secondary screen and the general orientation of the device. The method includes accepting a set of user preferences for individual user interface elements for various device states and/or device orientations. The method and device may configure individual windows, per user settings, relative to device state and/or user orientation of the device. The method and device may present, for example, a single set of reconfigurable and/or re-locatable user interface elements in different locations depending on device orientation and/or display mode. Further, the method and device may provide the user the ability to switch both display mode and user interface action simultaneously.
