SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED BRIGHTNESS CONTROL IN RESPONSE TO TWO USER INPUTS
An electronic reading device includes an adjustable RGBW front light and an ambient light sensor. Additionally, the electronic reading device includes circuitry configured to receive a low ambient light preferred brightness level, receive a high ambient light preferred brightness level, and set a rate at which a brightness level transitions between the low ambient light preferred brightness level and the high ambient light preferred brightness level as the ambient light changes.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED SCREEN COLOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL
An electronic reading device can include an adjustable RGBW front light and an ambient light sensor. Additionally, the electronic reading device can include circuitry configured to determine if a transition between phases has occurred, wherein the phases include a night phase, a sunrise transition phase, a daytime phase, and a sunset transition phase, automatically display a predetermined screen color temperature via the adjustable RGBW front light in response to the transition between phases, determine if a brightness level has changed, and automatically adjust a predetermined mixture of light to be displayed via the adjustable RGBW front light such that the screen color temperature does not change in response to the changing brightness level.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEVICE CASE MAGNETS
A protective case for an electronic reading device includes a back cover, wherein the back cover is configured to secure the electronic reading device. The back cover includes a plurality of metal plates, each of the plurality of metal plates disposed in a predetermined location. The protective case also includes a front cover, wherein the front cover includes a plurality of magnets, each of the plurality of magnets being disposed in a predetermined location and one or more of the plurality of magnets being positioned based on the location of one or more corresponding metal plates. The front cover also includes a Hall sensor magnet positioned on top of a magnet shielding, wherein the Hall sensor magnet is positioned between the magnet shielding and the back cover of the protective case when the protective case is in a closed position.
DEVICE WITH A MID-FRAME STRUCTURE AND REVERSE DRAFT
An electronic reading device includes a mid-frame structure such that the mid-frame structure can include a reverse draft. A reverse draft corresponds to a back of the electronic reading device being a predetermined amount wider than a front of the electronic reading device. Additionally, a co-molded mid-frame stiffener provides a predetermined rigidity of the electronic reading device. The electronic reading device also includes a display integrated with the front of the mid-frame structure, wherein a space between the display and the mid-frame structure includes one or more electronic reading device components. Similarly, a back cover is integrated with the back of the mid-frame structure, wherein a space between the back cover and the mid-frame structure includes additional electronic reading device components.
DEVICE WITH A PLURALITY OF MICRO LASER THROUGH HOLES
An electronic reading device includes a display integrated into a front of the electronic reading device, the display being outlined by a non-touch sensitive portion of the front of the electronic reading device; wherein a predetermined section of the non-touch sensitive portion of the front of the electronic reading device includes a plurality of micro laser through holes, the plurality of micro laser through holes configured to integrate with the non-touch sensitive portion of the front of the electronic reading device by maintaining a predetermined level of visual consistency of the non-touch sensitive portion, and provide an area through which light is visible in response to one or more interactions with the electronic reading device.
Multifunction Accessory for an Electronic Device
A multifunction accessory for an electronic device is provided. The multifunction accessory may include a back member, a shade member, a mirror, a plurality of support members, and a plurality of brackets. A hinge mechanism may connect the back member to the shade member and hinges may connect the shade member and support members. The mirror may be coupled to the shade member. The brackets may be coupled to the back member and the support members may be removably coupled to the brackets.
Cellphone with contoured surfaces
Disclosed is a housing for a portable handheld electronic device such as a cellphone. The device has a housing, having a left side and right side. At least one of the left side and right side is provided with integral surface features or surface structures to enhance gripping the cellphone, preferably along the entire length of the phone or within about the top half or one third of the phone.
ASSISTIVE TOUCH BUTTON AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE PROTECTIVE CASE
An assistive touch button and an electronic device protective case are provided. The assistive touch button includes an insulation button block and a plurality of conductive columns; a bottom surface of the insulation button block is attached to a touch surface of a capture button; the plurality of conductive columns are arranged in a spacing manner on the insulation button block; head ends of the plurality of conductive columns extend to a top surface of the insulation button block; and tail ends of the plurality of conductive columns extend to the bottom surface of the insulation button block and abut against touch points of the touch surface. The electronic device protective case includes a case body and an assistive touch button that is mounted on the case body and corresponds to the capture button.
ACCESSORY DEVICES FOR SECURING ELECTRONIC DEVICES TO VARIOUS STRUCTURES
An accessory device is designed to hold, by magnetic coupling, an electronic device and adjust one or more arms to support the electronic device on various objects. In one or more implementations, an accessory device includes one or more arms, each of which being capable of relative movement with each other. The arms of the accessory device can be moved to conform to the size, shape, and perimeter of various objects, thus allowing the accessory device to mount the electronic device on various objects. Moreover, once mounted on the object, the accessory device can further orient the electronic device such that either the camera(s) on the back of the electronic device faces a user (of the electronic device) or the display of the electronic device faces the user.
MECHANICAL LOCKING OF FLOOR PANELS WITH VERTICAL SNAP FOLDING
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system on long and short edges allowing installation with vertical snap folding that could be accomplished automatically without tools and where the short edge locking system has a tongue made in one piece with the panel. The floor panels may have a first and a second connector at the long edges that are configured to obtain a minimum of friction facilitating a displacement, by a spring back force from the bending of a short edge locking strip, of a new panel in a horizontal direction along the long edge during the vertical snap folding action.
