The electronic device includes a housing, a first printed circuit board disposed in the inner space of the housing, a second printed circuit board disposed so as to overlap at least a portion of the first printed circuit board, when the first printed circuit board is viewed from above, a first interposer disposed between the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board, and electrically connecting the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board, and at least one second interposer which is disposed between the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board so as to be spaced apart from the first interposer when the first printed circuit board is viewed from above, and which electrically connects the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board.
OVERLAY APPLICATOR TRAY AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An overlay applicator tray including a cradle including a device slot. The device slot is configured to securely hold an electronic device in the cradle. The overlay applicator tray also can include an overlay applicator. The overlay applicator can include an overlay layer and an adhesive release liner. The overlay layer can include a top side and a bottom side. The bottom side is configured to be adhered to a screen of the electronic device. The adhesive release liner is removably attached to the bottom side of the overlay layer. The overlay applicator tray additionally can include an alignment piece coupling the cradle to the overlay applicator. The alignment piece aligns the overlay layer of the overlay applicator with the screen as the overlay layer is applied to the screen when the electronic device is securely held in the device slot. The overlay applicator tray further can include a first pull tab on the adhesive release liner. The first pull tab is configured to be pulled to remove the adhesive release liner from the bottom side of the overlay layer and expose an adhesive of the overlay layer. Other embodiments are described.
Mobile device case with bonded soft resin insert and shell
A case for a mobile device includes a frame and an elastomeric shell. The elastomeric shell is received in the frame and has an outer surface, an inner surface opposite the outer surface and configured for receiving the mobile device, and a rim extending between the outer surface and the inner surface. The inner surface forms inner projections each having an inner extremity extending toward an inside of the elastomeric shell and each being configured for contact with the mobile device when arranged in the inner surface. The outer surface forms outer projections defining respective outer projection extremities and forms outer troughs extending between the outer projections and defining outer trough extremities. The outer projections extend toward a frame inner perimeter of the frame such that each of the outer trough extremities is spaced further from the frame than adjacent ones of the outer projection extremities.
Mobile device case for secured access and improvements
Mobile device cases are provided which, in a first embodiment, selectively limit a user's ability to control the user's own mobile electronic device. The case includes front and rear portions joined together and defining therein an opening for receiving a mobile electronic device, such as a mobile phone. A locking mechanism is provided for selectively securing the opening in a first locked position to prevent operational access to the mobile electronic device by the user until a predetermined condition is met. The case includes an indicia of time visible to the user during the period of time of prevented operational access. In a further embodiment, a case is provided with first and second polymeric shells each having an interior and an exterior surface thereon and connected together by at least one hinge portion. The first and second shell portions form a cavity of sufficient size to cover a mobile electronic device sufficiently to prevent access by its user. Tamper resistant and ultrasonic sensor defeating mobile device case embodiments are also contemplated by this invention.
