Modular mobile device side bar/buttons
A mobile device having an internal frame and a sidebar configured to be coupled to the internal frame. The sidebar can include at least one button positioned in a button configuration on an exterior face of the sidebar and a sidebar contact positioned on an interior face of the sidebar. The sidebar can be positioned to interface with a frame contact when the sidebar is coupled to the internal frame. The frame can be operably coupled to a controller for a mobile device such that coupling the sidebar contact to the frame contact operably connects the at least one button of the sidebar to the controller. The sidebar can be exchanged with or decoupled from the frame and replaced with a second sidebar having a different button configuration from the original sidebar.
BUTTON RESTORING MECHANISM AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING SAME
A button restoring mechanism of an electronic device includes a housing, an adjustment button mounted on the housing, a bracket, and an elastic member. One side of the adjustment button protrudes within the housing. The bracket latches with the adjustment button. One end of the elastic member is fixed to one side of the bracket, and a second end of the elastic member abuts against a second side of the bracket. An elastic force of the elastic member drives the second side of the bracket to abut against a switch button within the housing.
Force sensor and display device including the same
A display device includes a display panel and a force sensor. The force sensor is disposed adjacent to a first edge of the display panel and extends along the first edge. The force sensor includes a first sensing region, a second sensing region, a first force concentration bump, and a second force concentration bump. The second sensing region is located on a side of the first sensing region and has a larger area than the first sensing region. The first force concentration bump overlaps the first sensing region. The second force concentration bump overlaps the second sensing region and is spaced apart from the first force concentration bump.
TERMINAL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A terminal device and a method for controlling the terminal device are provided. The terminal device includes a terminal body; a pressure sensor arranged at a side of the terminal body; a control circuit, connected with an output terminal of the pressure sensor, and configured to perform a preset operation when a pressure detected by the pressure sensor is not smaller than a preset pressure threshold.
Single-control image-taking apparatus
According to one embodiment, an image-taking apparatus wherein a first actuation of a control element locks image-taking parameters and a subsequent actuation of this control element causes a picture to be taken. In one embodiment, the apparatus is a cellular telephone equipped with a camera wherein a first press on the volume up button locks focus and exposure. The photographer can then recompose the picture according to the half-press technique and take a picture with a subsequent press on the volume up button. Other embodiments are described.
Ultrasonic touch and force input detection
Touch events can be detected using an ultrasound input device coupled to a surface, such as a surface of a piece of furniture or electronic device. The ultrasound input device can generate ultrasonic waves in the surface, the reflections of which can be measured by the ultrasound input device. When a touch is made to the surface (e.g., opposite the ultrasound input device), the physical contact can absorb some of the energy of the outgoing ultrasonic waves (e.g., the originally transmitted wave and any subsequent outgoing reflections). Energy measurements associated with the measured reflections can thus be used to identify touch events. Various techniques can be used to make the energy measurements and reduce identification of false touch events.
Mobile terminal and method for starting shooting on mobile terminal
A mobile terminal and a method for starting shooting on a mobile terminal, which are used to enable a user of a mobile terminal to capture a view quickly. The mobile terminal includes a camera, a control module, and a button disposed on a housing of a mobile terminal, where the control module is configured to perform detection with respect to the button when the mobile terminal is in standby mode with a lock screen activated, and turn on the camera for shooting when detecting that a pressing operation of a user on the button meets a first preset condition. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, a user of a mobile terminal can capture a view quickly; therefore, photo shooting experience of the user is improved.
INPUT DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
Provided is an input device. The input device includes a piezoelectric vibration member; a frame disposed to contact at least one area of the piezoelectric vibration member; and a connection member disposed on one surface of the piezoelectric vibration member. The piezoelectric vibration member detects a pressure applied from the outside to generate a voltage and is vibrated in accordance with a signal applied from an external device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING KEY ASSEMBLY
An electronic device is provided, which includes a housing including a sidewall; a through-hole configured to penetrate the sidewall; an assembling hole formed adjacent to the through-hole inside the housing; a key assembly configured to be received in the assembling hole and disposed to face an inner surface of the housing in an area where the through-hole is positioned; and a fixing member configured to be received in the assembling hole and to bring a surface of the key assembly into close contact with the inner surface of the housing around the through-hole and seal between the through-hole and an inner space of the housing.
METHOD OF PROVIDING NOTIFICATION AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING SAME
A method of providing a notification and an electronic device supporting the same are provided. The method includes when an event is received, identifying a state of an electronic device and determining a notification type of the received event and when the notification type is a first type, outputting a notification of the received event in a sub display area of the electronic device.
