TERMINAL DEVICE, TERMINAL DEVICE CONTROL METHOD, AND MEMORY MEDIUM
A terminal device according to an embodiment includes: a microphone; a communication unit that performs communication via a network; a first sensor that obtains depth information; a first face detecting unit that detects a face and the distance to the face based on the depth information; and a processor. When a communication program, which is meant for making the processor perform transmission and reception of messages including voice messages and which has a sound input mode for enabling collection of sounds using the microphone and transmission of voice messages based on the collected sounds, is executed, and when a message is received by the communication unit under the control of the communication program being executed; the processor performs first-type face detection using the first face detecting unit and controls turning ON and turning OFF the sound input mode according to the result of the first-type face detection.
System, Method and Apparatus for Dispatching Help
A system for providing help includes a smartphone having a cellular transceiver and a global positioning subsystem. A call center server computer system has a plurality of agent computers. Software running on the smartphone is configured to recognize a preprogrammed specific utterance and to connect with the call center server computer system. After the preprogrammed specific utterance is detected, the software running on the smartphone initiates a call to the call center server computer system. When the call center server computer system receives the call, the call center server computer system retrieves a data record associated with the smartphone using a caller-id of the call and the call center server computer system assigns an agent computer. At least part of the data record is displayed on a display of that agent computer and an audio connection is made between that agent computer and the smartphone.
System, Method, and Apparatus for Dispatching Help
A method for providing help includes providing a plurality of data records, each data record having medical information regarding a user and one or more contacts associated with the user. After receiving a call for help at a call center computer system, determining the user based upon an identifier of the call for help and assigning an agent computer of the call center computer system to the call for help then transferring at least part of the data record to the agent computer. The data record of the user is then accessed at the agent computer and after determining a nature of the need for the help, a second call is made to one contact from the data record of the user after selecting the one contact selected based upon the need for help.
Adaptive Interface Switching
A system and method of adaptive interface switching in a mobile electronic communications device entails engaging in an audio interface task at the mobile electronic communications device. If during the audio interface task it is detected that at least one microphone or at least one speaker of the mobile electronic communications device is compromised, then the system activates a data link to a wearable communication device associated with a user of the mobile electronic communications device. At least one of a mic and speaker on the wearable communication device is then used to continue the audio interface task.

METHOD, SYSTEM, AND DEVICE FOR OBTAINING CONTACT INFORMATION
A method for obtaining contact information includes obtaining a contact name entered by a user through a dialing interface and searching a local database according to the contact name to determine whether basic contact information corresponding to the contact name is stored in the local database. If stored, the basic contact information stored in the local database is obtained. If the basic contact information is not stored in the local database, searching a database server on a network is performed to determine whether the basic contact information is stored in the database server, the basic contact information is obtained from the database server when the basic contact information is stored in the database server, and the obtained basic contact information is stored in the local database. The method also includes establishing a communication connection with a contact corresponding to the contact name by using the obtained basic contact information.
Managing communications with devices based on device information
Techniques for establishing communications with user devices are described herein. In an example, a system stores, in a user account, permission data to automatically establish a type of communications session by one or more user devices associated with the user account. The system receives, from a user device associated with the user account, contextual data about the user device. Based at least in part on the contextual data, the system determines that the user device is prohibited from automatically establishing the type of communications session. The system stores an indication that the user device is prohibited from automatically establishing the type of communications session.
Electronic Device with Trigger Phrase Bypass and Corresponding Systems and Methods
An electronic device includes an audio capture device receiving audio input. The electronic device includes one or more processors, operable with the audio capture device, and configured to execute a control operation in response to a device command preceded by a trigger phrase identified in the audio input when in a first mode of operation. The one or more processors transition from the first mode of operation to a second mode of operation in response to detecting a predefined operating condition of the electronic device. In the second mode of operation, the one or more processors execute the control operation without requiring the trigger phrase to precede the device command.
Method for Quickly Starting Application Service, and Terminal
A method for quickly starting an application service, and a terminal. The method includes acquiring, by a terminal, event trigger information; starting, by the terminal, the application service software after determining that the event trigger information meets a preset quick startup condition; and acquiring, by the terminal, a voice instruction input by a user, and running the application service software according to the voice instruction. According to the method provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, application service software is started by using event trigger information, so that a background of a terminal starts to perform recording only after the application service software is started, and background recording is stopped after the terminal provides an application service for a user, preventing a recording device in the background of the terminal from being always in a recording state, and further reducing power consumption of the terminal.
Mobile terminal and method for controlling mobile terminal using machine learning
Provided are a mobile terminal including an artificial intelligent agent and a method for controlling a mobile terminal using machine learning. A mobile terminal comprises a microphone, a learning data unit configured to identify and store keywords and a controller configured to: activate the microphone in response to an activation event, receive a voice input via the microphone, extract vocabulary information from the received voice input and execute a control corresponding to command information included in the received voice input, wherein the executed control is varied by utilizing the keywords and the extracted vocabulary information.
