SPEECH RECOGNITION SYSTEMS AND METHODS USING RELATIVE AND ABSOLUTE SLOT DATA
Methods and systems are provided for managing speech of a speech system. In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving, by a processor, relative information comprising graph data from at least one relative data datasource; processing, by a processor, the graph data of the relative information to determine at least one of an association and a relationship associated with an element defined in the speech system; and storing, by a processor, the at least one of association and relationship as relative slot data for use by at least one of a speech recognition method and a dialog management method.
DETECTION OF UNSECURE CALLS BY COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE
Disclosed are communications devices which can send indications that they are secure, and which can detect when a far end device is not secure (unsecure). A secure device is one that is not connected to a speakerphone or other speaker which is capable of emitting—or actually is emitting—sound which is louder than a certain threshold. If a communication device detects that a remote endpoint is unsecure, the communication device will switch to an unsecure mode. When the switch is made, the communications device alerts the user that the call is not secure so that the user can proceed accordingly.
Signaling voice-controlled devices
Techniques for indicating to a voice-controlled device that a user is going to provide a voice command to the device. In response to receiving such an indication, the device may prepare to process an audio signal based on sound captured by a microphone of the device for the purpose of identifying the voice command from the audio signal. For instance, a user may utilize a signaling device that includes a button that, when actuated, sends a signal that is received by the voice-controlled device. In response to receiving the signal, a microphone of the voice-controlled device may capture sound that is proximate to the voice-controlled device and may create an audio signal based on the sound. The voice-controlled device may then analyze the audio signal for a voice command of the user or may provide the audio signal to a remote service for identifying the command.
User terminal device and control method therefor
Disclosed are a user terminal device and a control method therefor. The control method for a user terminal device comprises the steps of: determining state information of a satellite device connected with a user terminal device when a call request message is received from another terminal device; determining communication configuration information with the another terminal device on the basis of the state information of the satellite device, and transmitting a call response message including the communication configuration information to the another terminal device; and receiving audio data from the another terminal device according to a communication scheme corresponding to the communication configuration information. Therefore, in comparison with the prior art, the present invention can reduce a call negotiation time between user terminal devices, and thus reduce a call cost.
Method and Apparatus for Controlling Application Program, and Electronic Device
Embodiments of the present invention relate to telecommunications technologies. A sensor is disposed on at least one of the electronic device or the external audio device. The method includes receiving, by the electronic device, a detection result signal sent by the sensor, where the detection result signal is a signal that carries a detection value obtained by means of detection by the sensor and determining, by the electronic device according to a preset correspondence and the detection value, an action performed by a user on the electronic device or the external audio device. The method also includes controlling, by the electronic device, an execution status of an audio and video application program according to the action.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND VOICE CONTROLLING METHOD
A method of controlling an electronic device by voice of user includes establishing a central control tree for the electronic device. User voice is obtained and deciphered and is recognized if content of voice is in accordance with textual commands stored in device. Device may also speak to user offering options that user may vocally select an confirm. Execution of operations to the electronic device is controlled according to the central control tree based upon the recognized voice content.
Method and user terminal for performing call using voice recognition
A method and a user terminal for performing a call using voice recognition are disclosed. The method and the user terminal include receiving a call request, obtaining a voice signal from a user in response to the call request, and determining whether the obtained voice signal is a call reception command to receive the call. The method and the user terminal perform the call in a handsfree mode based on the call request in response to the voice signal being the call reception command.
COMMUNICATION DEVICE CONTROL WITH EXTERNAL ACCESSORY
Disclosed is a communication device (102) that can be hosting a communication application (112) and/or software, such as PTT/VoIP application, which is at least partially controlled and supplemented with payload data by at least one accessory to provide remote UI capabilities, to be used in a communications system as system element, with an UI feature and/or accessory device for communicating commands, signaling data and/or voice/audio data. Also disclosed is an accessory device as a system element of the communications system.
Multiple device and multiple line connected home and home monitoring
Systems, devices, and techniques for multiple device and multiple line enabled computing devices and computing appliances are described herein. A device number can be assigned to a computing device and can be unique to the computing device. A plurality of alias numbers can be provided to the computing device and enabled for use by the computing device. Alias numbers can be enabled on multiple computing appliances, such that a user can transfer voice or video calls between devices using the alias numbers. Further, monitoring components in a home environment, for example, can be associated with one or more alias number so that security alerts can be provided to the various computing devices and computing appliances associated with the alias numbers.
Audio systems and methods
A system for receiving multiple conversations or messages and for playing the multiple conversations or messages with a mobile device and wireless earpieces. The system may determine various presentation parameters based on various characteristics of the received messages and may play the messages such that audio appears at distinguishing locations around the user. The system may change how messages and/or conversations are played in response to recognize a change in the focus of the user based on detected user inputs, such as body movement gestures.
