Provided is an information output apparatus and method. The information output apparatus includes a plurality of expression members configured to protrude or retract by moving in at least one direction and being sensed by a user when protruding or retracting; an activation area calculator configured to calculate a series of braille letters as an activation area on the plurality of expression members; a non-activation area calculator configured to calculate a space between the braille letters as a non-activation area in the activation area; and a plurality of actuation controllers configured to actuate expression members corresponding to the activation area to protrude or retract and configured to actuate expression members corresponding to the non-activation area to retract.

Provided is an information output apparatus and method. A phone and system is disclosed which includes a programmed button(s) that initiates a telephone call from the phone to a second phone. In some embodiments, the phone may be a toy or instructional equipment configured to provide for example, children a device to learn how to converse over a telephone call with trusted parties. The phone may initiate a phone call request when a programmed button is pressed by connecting with a computing device that has a wireless local area network (LAN) transceiver and a connection to the telephone network (for example, a smartphone, a tablet, or a wearable device). The phone call request may then be re-routed through the telephone network to the second phone being called and communication may occur between the two phones through the intermediary device. Trusted and restricted communication may thus occur between parents/grandparents and children.

An interaction method in a call and a device, where the method includes displaying a voice assistant icon on a call screen of the wearable device when a phone number of a communication peer device is a service number converting received voice information into a dual tone multi frequency (DTMF) tone when the voice assistant icon is activated, and sending the DTMF tone to the communication peer device. Therefore, in a process of making or answering a service call using the wearable device, under a specific trigger condition, voice information of a user is converted into a DTMF tone to be sent to the communication peer device. In this way, when the user needs to enter a digit or a symbol in a call process, it can be ensured that the user enters correct information, and user experience is improved.

The user equipment includes a transceiver, a memory, at least one sensor for detecting a biometric measurement of a user of the equipment, a user interface and a processor. The processor filters the biometric measurement, calculates a metric based on the measurement, evaluates the metric, selectively adjusts an amount of information displayed on the user interface based on the evaluated metric and executes an application corresponding to a user actuation of an item of the displayed information.

In some embodiments, a client device, held or worn by the user, may comprise a video capture device and several sensors, and may send video data and sensor data to a server. The server may comprise a processor and artificial intelligence. The server may send the video data and sensor data to an agent device. The agent device may provide content for display on an agent interface. An agent may view the agent interface, and assist the user in real time through audio instructions or other feedback.

Speech generating devices, communication systems, and methods for communicating using the devices and systems are disclosed herein. In certain examples, the speech generating device includes a display device and an input device configured to generate a communication to be displayed on the display device, wherein the speech generating device is configured to allow a user to select between playing the generated communication through a speaker and transmitting the generated communication via a communication network to a computing device separate from the speech generating device. In certain examples, the computing device may be designated with other computing devices of other conversation partners within a conversation group.
