Shoe extension for patient gait modification
A shoe extension for gait modification includes a vamp section, a base section, an attachment strap, and a restraining mechanism. The vamp section is connected to a top surface of the base section forming a receiving slot. A toe box of a shoe worn on a healthy limb is slidably positioned into the receiving slot such that the base section is positioned along an outsole of the shoe. The attachment strap is utilized to establish a connection with the shoe. By increasing an overall length of the footwear worn on the healthy limb, a speed of motion of the healthy limb may be reduced in order to increase weight bearing on the unhealthy limb. The restraining mechanism, which is preferably integrated into a bottom surface of the base section, may also be used to reduce the speed of motion of the healthy limb.
Surface structure for sports boots with increased ball contact properties and method for preparing the structure
A surface structure for sports boots used for ball games having increased ball-contact properties where each boot has an upper part and a sole and the upper part has an outer surface used for shooting a ball, wherein at least a part of said ball shooting outer surface comprises a coating that has an adhesive substance covering said outer surface and a grained structure embedded in and kept by the adhesive. The grained structure comprises discrete granules of a resilient material, wherein between the adhesive and the outer surface of the upper part and between the adhesive and the granules a stable and durable bonding is provided, and the granules have outer surfaces that provide an improved contact with the ball when getting in contact with it.

Crampon with embedded cleats
A crampon includes a crampon base for fitting to an underside of an item of footwear, such as a shoe or a boot. A harness extends from the crampon base and may be attached to the crampon base using rivets. The harness and the crampon base define a space for receiving the item of footwear. The crampon base comprises at least one cleat assembly with a cleat base embedded within the crampon base. One or more spikes extend from the cleat base.
HIGH HEEL SHOE
A high heel shoe has an insole, an outsole, and a shank embedded between the insole and outsole, the shank comprising a heel portion with a depression to accommodate a user's heel, and a lateral ridge element in front of the heel portion that exerts pressure against the forward movement of a user's heel when worn. The shank further comprises a front portion sloping downward from the lateral ridge along the arch of the insole, which optionally is padded.
Footwear plate
A plate for an article of footwear includes a substrate, a first strand portion attached to the substrate via first stitching, and a second strand portion disposed on the first layer. The first strand portion includes first segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a first layer on the substrate. The second strand portion includes second segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a second layer on the first layer.

Suction apparatus for immobility in free fall
An immobility system for a free-fall environment includes an immobility device including at least one suction cup configured to engage the immobility device to a surface, and a valve that, when activated, results in release of the at least one suction cup from engagement with the surface. A remote controller is spaced apart from the valve and is configured to selectably transmit an activation signal to the valve. An immobility device includes at least one suction cup configured to engage the immobility device to a surface, and a valve that, when activated, results in release of the at least one suction cup from engagement with the surface. A receiver at the device is configured to receive an activation signal and activate the valve.
LIGHTED FOOTWEAR DEVICE
A lighted footwear device for use with existing footwear is disclosed herein comprising: a toe section, a heel section, a pair of adjustable strap members, and a plurality of light members. The plurality of light members are each attached to an outer surfaces of one of the toe section and the heel section. Each of the plurality of light members includes a pressure switch adapted to light up the light member when pressure is applied thereto and turn off when the light member is relieved of the pressure, such that when a person wearing the footwear walks or runs upon a surface respective lights will emit light when stepped upon. The lighted footwear device is adapted to be releasably attached to outer surfaces of respective toe and heel sections of the footwear.
