Disclosed herein are methods and systems for discovering an MSISDN of a cellular device, comprising detecting an activation event of the cellular device with a SIM associated with an MSISDN not exposed to the cellular device, transmitting one or more discovery Short Message Service (SMS) messages to a discovery system configured to transmit back to the cellular device one or more response SMS messages comprising the MSISDN identified for the discovery SMS message(s), receiving the response SMS message(s), and storing the MSISDN extracted from the response SMS message(s). The cellular device includes the stored MSISDN and a location of the cellular device in one or more Advanced Mobile Location (AML) messages transmitted by the cellular device to an AML service when initiating an emergency call.

Preventing spam communications

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to systems and methods for preventing spam communications. Implementations can implement an access control list that a communicator (e.g., a user device sending a text message, making a phone call, etc.) must be on in order to complete the communication with a recipient. If they are not on the access control list, the communicator can be prevented from sending the communication to the recipient, redirected to a registration process, or the communication can be tagged with an unverified status flag. In some implementations, the access control list can include a recipient's contacts, contacts of the recipient's contacts, authenticated entities (e.g., users and/or companies), previously verified entities, etc. In some implementations, a recipient can give out a temporary extension that a communicator can enter to complete communications with the recipient for a certain amount of time or for a certain number of uses.

Optimized triggering of telephone communications

A method for managing telephone communication and to a corresponding computer program, storage medium, telephone communication management device, and telephone communication management platform. A request to set up a telephone communication session between a first terminal and a second terminal is received. Each terminal has its own identifier. A first call command is sent to the first terminal. Pickup of the first terminal by a user before the end of a predetermined period is detected. Automatic detection is based on obtaining a signal indicating that the first call command has been accepted, associated with obtaining an indication of a user's interaction with a human-machine interface at the first terminal. A second call command is then sent to the second terminal.

Systems and methods for triggering phone calls to mobile phones

An activation device includes a wireless communication interface, an activation circuitry, and a trigger device. The wireless communication interface is configured to communicate with a mobile phone in a personal area network. The activation circuitry is configured to generate a signal for activating the mobile phone. The trigger device is configured to receive an input from a user. When the trigger device receives the input from the user, the activation circuitry is caused to generate the signal, and the wireless communication interface is configured to send the signal to the mobile phone, causing the mobile phone to pass the call request to a call service, which is in turn caused to generate a call, calling the mobile phone.
