APPARATUS FOR REVERSE POWER FEEDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMMUNICATION LINE ENVIRONMENTS AND A METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to an apparatus for reverse power feeding in accordance with communication line environments and a method thereof, which measure line resistance (e.g., a difference in impedance depending on a distance between a customer premise (CP) and a distribution point (DP)) of a communication line (e.g., a twisted pair copper wire) connected to a distribution point at a customer premise and reflect the measured line resistance to perform stable power feeding to the distribution point.
Machine learning-driven servicing interface
Systems and methods for customizing business applications based upon user intent scores is described. A machine learning model trained to specifically predict when a user is likely to engage in a specific activity while interacting with the business application may be trained using data regarding prior interactions between a business application and a plurality of users. The machine learning model may thereafter provide a probability score for a particular user, the probability score indicating the likelihood that the user will engage in the specific activity for which the model has been trained to predict. The probability may be combined with a business value factor to produce a user intent score indicating the relative value of the user engaging in the specific activity. A business application comprising an app executing on a client device, a webpage, an automated menu at a call-in service center, or human operator interacting with the user at a call in the service center may be customized for the particular user based upon the user intent scores.
Individualization of migration between telephony systems
Various technologies described herein pertain to controlling migration of a source endpoint in a source telephony system to a destination endpoint in a destination telephony system. The source endpoint is deactivated and the destination endpoint is activated as part of the migration. The migration of endpoints between the source telephony system and the destination telephony system can be performed in an individualized manner. Source information that specifies a state of the source endpoint is retrieved from the source telephony system and destination information that specifies a state of the destination endpoint is retrieved from the destination telephony system. Moreover, a validation is performed concerning whether the source endpoint is migratable to the destination endpoint based on the source information and the destination information. Subsequent to validating that the source endpoint is migratable to the destination endpoint, the migration is performed to deactivate the source endpoint and activate the destination endpoint.
Status information update method and mobile terminal
Embodiments of the present invention provide a status information update method, including: receiving, by a first mobile terminal, a status update message sent by a second mobile terminal, where the status update message is used to indicate a change of a status of the second mobile terminal; and updating, by the first mobile terminal according to the status update message, status information of the second mobile terminal that is stored in the first mobile terminal. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a first mobile terminal directly acquires, from a second mobile terminal, a change of a status of the second mobile terminal, so that the first mobile terminal can update status information related to the second mobile terminal in time and dynamically adjust a communication manner between the first mobile terminal and the second mobile terminal, which can improve user experience.
HOSPITALITY PRIVATE BRANCH EXCHANGE (PBX) SYSTEM WITH DYNAMIC RULES FOR COMPLEMENTING MOBILE PHONES OF CURRENTLY CHECKED IN GUESTS
A PBX system complements the mobile phones of users. Custom incoming and outgoing call rules are dynamically activated for users when the users begin utilizing a facility having at least one phone number and a number of internal phones. A custom rule causes outgoing calls made from an internal phone used by a user to have a caller ID phone number of the user's personal mobile phone rather than the facility's phone number. Another custom rule causes incoming calls made to the facility's phone number that have a source caller ID phone number matching a phone number in the user's mobile phone address book to be automatically forwarded directly to an internal phone currently utilized by the user. The user may install an application on their mobile phone, and another custom rule causes incoming calls at the user's mobile phone to be twinned while the user is at the facility.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING LAWFUL INTERCEPTION MANAGEMENT (LIM) INTEGRATION
The present disclosure enables lawful interception management (LIM) server integration with a centralized data layer (CDL) server and a converge telephony application server (CTAS). An X1 provisioning request from the LIM server is entertained at the CDL server and the LIM server determines details of the CDL server for target provisioning using an X1 interface. Further, an X2 interface is used by the CTAS to send data to the LIM server. If target is provisioned for interception, the CDL server will transfer X2 records towards LIM server, otherwise the CDL server will discard the data.
Technique for providing services in a service provisioning network
The invention relates to techniques for providing services in a service provisioning network (100), wherein a service-related message (118) is routed by a service routing node (104) to a service hosting node (106). A method embodiment of the invention comprises in the service routing node the steps of receiving, e.g. from the service hosting node, service availability information (124) indicating an availability of the service in the service hosting node; and establishing, based on the received service availability information, a service routing rule.
AUTOMATED BULK PROVISIONING OF PRIMARY RATE INTERFACE AND SIP TRUNK TELEPHONE NUMBERS
A broadband provisioning system configured for bulk provisioning of communications services is provided. The system includes an order manager that includes machine executable instructions stored on machine readable media, the instructions for: receiving a request to provision a plurality of telephone numbers with communications services; creating details for the request and setting an initial state for the request; and upon commencement of processing of the request, updating the state of the request to indicate ongoing processing, provisioning each telephone number in the request by associating resources therewith, and updating a status for each telephone number provisioned; and upon completion of processing, changing the state of the request to indicate completion.
Providing to a public-safety answering point emergency information associated with an emergency call
Users store information relevant to first responders in the event of an emergency. When a user later places an emergency call, the user's emergency information is automatically made available to the public-safety answering point operator handling the call. Hotel personal are notified of the call and may listen to and break in to the ongoing call in order to assist. A reverse 9-1-1 broadcast enables hotel personnel to quickly notify guests of an emergency situation via in-room and mobile phones. In the event that police need to conduct surveillance on a target location, the onsite PBX server reconfigures phones within the vicinity of the target location to operate in an open mode and records the audio/visual information received. An incoming call to a hotel room from the PSAP is automatically connected to the in-room phone even if other incoming calls not from the PSAP are being screened by front desk.
