TOLL-FREE NUMBERS METADATA TAGGING, ANALYSIS AND REPORTING
A method for reducing costs associated with fraudulent call activity is provided. The method includes receiving data associated with usage of a telecommunications number. The method further includes analyzing the data to determine that the usage of the telecommunications number is indicative of a fraudulent call activity. The method further includes assigning a call route to the telecommunications number adapted to reduce a cost associated with the fraudulent call activity.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM
An elevator system is provided, in which when a telephone in an information center receives an emergency call using an analogue public telephone network from an interphone of an elevator, a monitoring person in the information center can confirm information of the elevator which transmits the emergency call while responding to the emergency call by the telephone. To this end, the elevator system includes: means configured to add, as an identification voice signal, identification information to a call voice signal input to an intercom provided inside each of cars of elevators, the identification information enabling the elevator in which the intercom is installed to be specified; means configured to transmit, with an analog signal, the call voice signal to which the identification voice signal is added; means configured to reproduce the call voice signal included in the transmitted analog signal; means configured to extract the identification information from the identification voice signal included in the transmitted analog signal; and a monitoring terminal configured to acquire, from a server configured to store information on the elevator specified by the identification information in association with the identification information, information on the elevator associated with the identification information extracted from the identification voice signal and to display the acquired information.
Collaboration portal
A system and related method manage a collaboration portal. The method comprises receiving, from a transferor resource, transfer information, which comprises identification of resources for a future transfer, identification of transferees comprising the transferees to whom the resources will transfer to in the future, transfer instructions related to the future transfer of the resources to the transferees, and access instructions that allow the transferees to access the resource transfer information. The resource transfer information is stored in a memory of the collaboration portal. The method further comprises, receiving, from a transferee, via a network interface, a request to access the resource transfer information, and providing, to the transferee, limited access to the resource transfer information based on the access instructions, using a processor of the collaboration portal.
Methods and systems to retrieve and validate emergency information associated with VOIP communications
A VoIP 911 application is accessible to VoIP callers in the form of a portal and/or at least one API executed by one or more of a plurality of computing systems to retrieve a physical location of a VoIP user utilizing a VoIP number. A known postal address is generated from the physical location. The postal address is processed using a GIS system to determine if the postal address is a valid actual address. The postal address is processed using geocoding, and an updated MSAG address associated with the location of the VoIP user is generated. The VoIP 911 application may comprise an instant messaging application. The IM application is installed to and/or integrated with existing software packages. A VoIP user may update emergency information by submitting a current physical location of the VoIP user via an IM chat window. The physical location submitted is validated and confirmed.
Methods, systems, and products for notifications
A message notification indicates a message has been retrieved and/or read. The message notification may be sent to any destination, such as a sender's device. When the sender's device receives the message notification, an icon or other graphical indicator may be displayed to indicate the message has been retrieved and/or read.
Cloud-based emergency location service
A method for a wireless UE device to utilize tokens and cloud service technology to facilitate the provision of location data to an emergency call center. The UE may provide cellular signaling to initiate an outgoing telephone call to an emergency call center. A token may be provided during the signaling, wherein the token is associated with location information of the UE device stored on a server computer (referred to as a cloud server or location server). The token may uniquely identify the UE device and/or a user cloud service account of the UE device. The call center may use the token to retrieve location information of the UE from the cloud server. The use of the token may also provide for enhanced security, e.g., to prevent spoofing of the UE phone number.
TOLL-FREE TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND DATA MANAGEMENT PLATFORM
A Toll-Free Management Platform (TFMP) includes methods and systems for number administration, customer administration, call management services, texting services and text registry, and a smart services registry. The TFMP may allow users to receive through a web-based interface, an activate request from a user, wherein the request includes at least a customer record template reference and an indication of when to active a toll-free telecommunications number associated with the request. The request may include at least one IP address datum associated with the toll-free telecommunications number. A user interface may allow activating a toll-free number, and users may access the TFMP to create and access existing templates of toll-free call routing templates, and utilize a routing tree engine to create customized call routing trees for the toll-free numbers of interest to the user.
Providing assistance in an emergency
A notification of an emergent condition is provided. A mobile device application executing on the processor of a user device, and communicates with a server system over a telecommunications network, which generally comprises the public Internet. The mobile device user includes a dead man's switch control, which begins the emergency notification process if released. The emergency alert process uses a central case management server to provide a uniform interface into key data, reducing the need for operators to provide information verbally.
TECHNIQUES FOR BEHAVIORAL PAIRING IN A TASK ASSIGNMENT SYSTEM
Techniques for behavioral pairing in a task assignment system are disclosed. In one particular embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a method for behavioral pairing in a task assignment system comprising receiving, by at least one computer processor communicatively coupled to and configured to operate in the task assignment system, information associated with a task to be assigned to an agent in the task assignment system, wherein receipt of the information is triggered by an action taken by a user.
Location-based audio messaging
Mobile devices provide a variety of techniques for presenting messages from sources to a user. However, when the message pertains to the presence of the user at a location, the available communications techniques may exhibit deficiencies, e.g., reliance on the memory of the source and/or user of the existence and content of a message between its initiation and the user's visit to the location, or reliance on the communication accessibility of the user, the device, and/or the source during the user's location visit. Presented herein are techniques for enabling a mobile device, at a first time, to receive a request to present an audio message during the presence of the user at a location; and, at a second time, detecting the presence of the user at the location, and presenting the audio message to the user, optionally without awaiting a request from the user to present the message.
