SYSTEM FOR COMMUNICATING EVENT AND LOCATION INFORMATION
The present invention provides a system, method and apparatus for initiating and handling an emergency IP request using an IP enabled device having GPS capability. The IP enabled device is monitored for one or more emergency criteria. If the emergency criteria are satisfied, global positioning data is obtained using the GPS capability and the emergency IP request is sent to an address server. The address server receives the emergency IP request, obtains local emergency services data based on the global positioning data, dials a call center station based on the local emergency services data and passes an emergency call from the IP enabled device to the call center station. This invention can be implemented as a computer program embedded in a computer readable medium wherein the steps are performed by one or more code segments.

Location-based services for controlled-environment facilities
Systems and methods for developing, deploying, providing, and/or operating location-based services for controlled-environment facilities are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method may include receiving, from a resident of a controlled-environment facility, a request to establish a remote communication with a mobile device operated by a non-resident of the controlled-environment facility. The method may also include allowing or denying the request depending, at least in part, upon a physical location of the mobile device at the time of the request to establish the remote communication and subsequent monitoring during the allowed communication. The method may also include terminating an allowed remote communication based on the monitored location of the mobile device during the remote communication. In some cases, the method may also include comparing an indication of the physical location with a geo-fencing rule and taking a predetermined action in response to the comparison.
Communication system and information processing device
A communication system with a plurality of information processing terminals and an information processing device communicating with the information processing terminals includes a positional information obtaining unit configured to obtain positional information about the information processing terminals; a converting unit configured to convert the positional information obtained by the positional information obtaining unit into alphanumeric information representing a name of a location which corresponds to the positional information; a transmitting unit configured to, when responding to a request from a first information processing terminal of the information processing terminals, transmit to the first information processing terminal the alphanumeric information obtained in conversion by the converting unit from a second information processing terminal of the information processing terminals; and the location with the alphanumeric information transmitted by the transmitting unit.
Mobile and landline call switching
Systems and methods for transitioning calls are presented. In one example, data is received associated with a connected wireless mobile phone call. The data may include identification data of a far end call participant. A user selection is received to initiate an outgoing call to the far end participant. The outgoing call is initiated over a wired connection to the far end participant.
Dynamic selection of communication mode, application, and/or device using context and policy
The system and method identify contact information for a first party. The contact information for the first party includes a plurality of communication endpoints of the first party and a plurality of communication applications for the plurality of communication endpoints of the first party. For example, the plurality of communication endpoints may be a home phone and a cell phone of the first party. The plurality of communication applications may be voice, video, text, and/or virtual reality applications of the first party. An electronic communication request is received from the first party to the second party. In response to receiving the electronic communication request from the first party to the second party, a first communication endpoint of the plurality of communication endpoints for the first party and a first communication application of the plurality of communication applications of the first party is selected based on a rule.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR CALL TRACKING USING CALLER IDENTIFICATION IN CROSS-CHANNEL MARKETING AUTOMATION MANAGEMENT SUPPORT WITH INTELLIGENT PRIVACY PROTECTION
A system, methods, and computer program products for performing call tracking in a novel way wherein caller ID data is obfuscated so as to preserve a caller's privacy by protecting their telephone number.
Multi-channel video intercom systems with access to advanced digital services
A multi-channel video intercom system with access to advanced digital services includes a two-wire communication bus for audio, video, and data communications in different communication channels, at least one outdoor panel having a camera connected to the communication bus, at least one power supply connected to the communication bus to provide power to the rest of the video intercom system, at least one user terminal connected to the communication bus wherein at least one terminal is connected to the at least one outdoor panel, and wherein at least one terminal is a video intercom terminal. The system further includes a communications gateway connected to the communication bus through a first connection interface and Internet connected through a second connection interface wherein the gateway is allowed access to advanced digital services via the Internet from at least one video intercom terminal through at least one communication bus channel available for data.
ACCESS TO HEALTH INFORMATION DURING EMERGENCY CALL
A mobile device (110) and an emergency entity (120) in a mobile network (130) accommodate emergency calls. The network is coupled to a medical database (140) comprising respective electronic health records (EHR) regarding respective persons. The mobile device is arranged to obtain the encrypted medical identifier of a user of the device; and, upon establishing that the user may be a victim of the emergency, to include the encrypted medical identifier in the emergency message during an emergency call. The emergency entity is arranged to retrieve the encrypted medical identifier from the emergency message, and to access the medical database to retrieve at least one electronic health record based on the encrypted medical identifier for enabling forwarding of information from the electronic health record to responders to an emergency.
SYSTEM TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO PREMISES THAT COMPRISE ENTRANCES LOCKED BY MEANS OF ELECTROMECHANICAL KEY LOCKS
The invention concerns a system (1) to provide access to premises (P1-P4) that comprise entrances (E1.1, E1.2, E2-E4) locked by means of electromechanical key locks (L1.1, L1.2, L2-L4), which for locking and unlocking are powered by insertion and actuation of at least one programmable key (24). In said system (1) an administrator (10) contacts a service unit (20) in possession of a programmable key (24) and provides it with synchronization data (13) for an electromechanical key lock (L1.2) of at least one entrance (E1.1) of at least one premise (P1) at an exact geographic position of a site (S).
