METHOD AND SYSTEM OF RESPONDING TO A CALL WITH A REAL TIME TEXT
Embodiments herein provide a method and system of responding to a call with a text. The method includes receiving by a target communication device a call from an initiator communication device. The target communication device responds to the from call with a real time text (RTT). One or more characters in the RTT are sent instantaneously to the initiator communication device.
MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE
A method for controlling a mobile communications device and a mobile communications device including a radio processing circuit and a baseband processing circuit adapted to interact with the radio processing circuit, configured to: receive a first call on a first subscriber identity module of a mobile communications device; receive a second call on a second subscriber identity module of the mobile communications device; suspend the first call on a local hold; switch to the second call from the first call; transmit a message to the first call while the second call is active.
Methods and apparatuses to convey a local call hold state to a recipient device
A method is provided for implementing a local call hold in a dual subscription dual active first communication device. A first voice call may be established with a second communication device via a first communication network. An indication of a second voice call may be received from a third communication device via a second communication network. The first voice call may be placed on hold by sending a call hold indicator within a regularly transmitted frame to the second communication device. The second voice call may be established with the third communication device after placing the first voice call on hold. The first voice call with the second communication device may be subsequently resumed by excluding the call hold indicator from the regularly transmitted frame to the second communication device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND CALL SERVICE PROVIDING METHOD THEREOF
A call service providing method and an electronic device thereof are provided. The electronic device includes: at least one communication circuit supporting at least one communication protocol; a display; a microphone; a speaker; an input device which is configured with or separated from the display; a control circuit electrically coupled to the communication circuit, the display, the microphone, the speaker, and the input device; and a memory electrically coupled to the control circuit. The memory stores instructions executable by the control circuit to: receive a first call from a first external electronic device via the at least one communication circuit; during the first call, receive a request for a second call from a second external electronic device via the at least one communication circuit; receive the second call based on input via the input device; convert a first voice data from the second external electronic device to a first text data and display the first text data on the display; and convert a second text data inputted via the input device to a second voice data and transmit the second voice data to the second external electronic device. Various other embodiments are provided.
Mobile device having function of controlling call connection in lock mode by using voice signal
The present invention relates to a mobile device having a function of controlling a call connection in a lock mode by using a voice signal. The mobile device includes: a keypad 110 which allows a user to input an execution command for setting a specific function or for performing a specific function; a controller 130 which performs a corresponding operation in accordance with the execution command input to the keypad 110, a preset internal function, or an execution command applied from the outside; a microphone 140 which allow the user to input a voice command under the control of the controller 130; a memory 160 stores at least one preset reference command under the control of the controller 130 and stores the voice command input through the microphone 140 under the control of the controller 130; an LED 180 which represents an operation state of the mobile device under the control of the controller 130; a wireless transceiver 190 which performs a voice call or a data communication between a transmitting terminal and a receiving mobile device; and a speaker 195 which outputs a specific operation state or a user's voice signal under the control of the controller 130. When the receiving mobile device receives an incoming call from any transmitting terminal in a lock mode, the controller 130 converts automatically the mobile device into a voice input mode for a predetermined period of time, and when it is determined that a specific voice command input by the user of the receiving mobile device in the voice input mode is successfully recognized by the receiving mobile device, the controller 130 controls the wireless transceiver 190 to control a call connection between the transmitting terminal and the receiving mobile device.
Methods and devices for prompting calling request
The present disclosure relates to a method for prompting a calling request and a device for the same, which belong to the field of electronic technology. The method includes: receiving a calling request from a second terminal during a call session with a first terminal, the calling request carrying a communication identification of the second terminal; inquiring whether the first user information corresponding to the communication identification of the second terminal is in a contact list stored in local; and converting the first user information to corresponding first audio data through an audio transformation according to the first user information, and playing the first audio data during the call session.
CALL HOLDING MANAGEMENT
A system or a method may be provided that automatically distinguishes between a hold status and when someone live is talking on the phone. For example, the caller's phone may detect when the call holding has ended and a customer service representative is now actually on the line. The phone may alert the user to pick up the call at that time, such as utilizing a call-back mechanism. In an embodiment, the system may analyze and learn the various call holding music or recordings of call centers. The system may detect when the call holding music or recording ends in a telephone call and may alert the user.
Method and device for discovering and synchronizing service capabilities
In a cellular communication system a radio terminal registers a network based service, e.g. a Communication Waiting supplementary service. By transmitting a register request comprising a corresponding option tag, the radio terminal explores whether the network supports the requested network based service. In that case a user profile associated with the requesting radio terminal is updated and the radio terminal may henceforth use that service.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING CALL SWITCHING
A call switching method and a mobile device are provided that rapidly and conveniently switch calls. The method includes performing a first operation; receiving an event for a second operation that is different from the first operation, while the first operation is being performed; detecting a movement of the mobile device; and performing the second operation, based on determining that the detected movement satisfies a condition.
Method and apparatus for providing a customer premise based communication system
A method and an apparatus for providing a customer premise based feature. For example, the method receives a call directed to a customer, wherein the call is associated with a customer premise based feature. The method then forwards the call to a customer premise based communication system located at a location of the customer, wherein the customer premise based feature is implemented locally by the customer premise based communication system.
