SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ESTABLISHING A CALL CONNECTION
Systems and methods for establishing call connection in response to user action, the method including receiving a first user action from a user associated with making a call connection, wherein the first user action comprises any of copying at least part of a phone number, pasting at least part of the phone number, or inputting at least part of the phone number. The method also includes determining one or more call recipients based on the first user action. The method also includes establishing one or more silent call connections based on the determined one or more call recipients, wherein each of the one or more silent call connections comprises a call connection with a predetermined parameter so that there are no incoming call indicators on one or more devices associated with the one or more call recipients.
SIP proxy server, communication method and SIP proxy program
An SIP proxy server 1 includes a forking termination unit 21. The forking termination unit 21 is configured to: in response to receiving an Initial INVITE request message from a originating-side network 6, transmit the Initial INVITE request message to an incoming-side network 7, and in response to receiving an 18X response message at the first time from the incoming-side network, transmit the 18X response message received at the first time to the originating-side network 6. The forking termination unit 21 establishes Early dialog #0 between the SIP proxy server and the originating-side network 6 and establishes Early Dialog #1 that is compatible with an incoming-side terminal 3 that is a transmission source of an 18X response message received at the first time. In response to receiving 18X response message at the second time from the incoming-side network 7, the forking termination unit 21 establishes Early Dialog #2 that is compatible with the incoming-side terminal 3 that is a transmission source of the 18X response message received at the second time.
FEATURE REGULATION BETWEEN ENDPOINTS OF A MULTI-ENDPOINT COMMUNICATION SERVICE
The technology disclosed herein enables regulation of features provided by respective endpoints registered for a user in a multi-endpoint service. In a particular embodiment, a method includes, in response to determining that a first endpoint is being operated by a first user, associating the first endpoint with a primary designation and associating the second endpoint with a secondary designation. The method further includes allowing the first endpoint to provide a first set of communication features in accordance with the primary designation and preventing the second endpoint from providing the first set of communication features in accordance with the secondary designation.
METHOD, SERVER, CLIENT AND PROGRAM FOR SUPPORTING CALLING
A method for determining candidates for a person who is to handle a failure upon occurrence of a failure as call-target persons and calling the call-target persons via the Internet is provided. The method is a method which is to be executed by a server, for supporting calling of call-target persons within a list in which candidates for a person who is to handle a failure are defined as call-target persons, upon occurrence of a failure, and includes a step of calling a client of a call-target person selected from the list via the Internet, and a step of receiving a response result indicating a result of operation in response to the calling from the client of the selected call-target person.
Presence-based notification system
Techniques for notifying multiple recipient devices of a communication request are described. The system may determine a score corresponding to each of the recipient devices and may notify the devices based on the score. The system may cause a first recipient device to output a notification for the communication request for a duration of time. After the duration of time elapses, the system may cause a second recipient device to output a notification for the communication request.

Systems and methods for providing caller identification over a public switched telephone network
A system and method of providing caller identification (ID) over a public switched telephone network (PSTN). For outbound calls, the system and method enable a caller to provide a caller ID that differs from the native caller ID of their mobile phone. The system and method enable multiple phones tied to a single account to display the same caller ID for outbound calls. For forwarded inbound calls, such as calls being forwarded from an office, the system and method inform the recipient of the identification of the call as well as that the call is being forwarded. The system and method enable the recipient to have calls forwarded from more than one number and identify the identity of the caller as well as the specific number the call is being forwarded from.
