A network device receives a call request of a calling party, where the call request includes identification information of a called first terminal device; calls the first terminal device and at least one second terminal device based on the identification information of the first terminal device, where identification information of the second terminal device and the first terminal device has a correspondence with a same user account; receives an answering instruction of a user, where the answering instruction is used to instruct a third terminal device in the first terminal device and the at least one second terminal device to answer the call request; and sends a call response to the calling party in response to the answering instruction.

CUSTOMIZATION OF CALL FORWARDING OR VOICEMAIL GREETINGS BASED ON LOCATION OF WIRELESS DEVICE
20220263944 · 2022-08-18 ·

A wireless telecommunications system provides location-specific call forwarding. The system can receive a request to connect a voice call to the wireless device, which can invoke a call forwarding procedure depending on a status of a subscriber associated with the wireless device. When the system determines that a current location of the wireless device is different from a default location, location-specific call forwarding information is used to forward the voice call to a terminating node associated with the location-specific forwarding information rather than a default terminating node for the default location. The terminating node can include a voicemail server that plays back a location-specific voicemail greeting to the caller.

Call redirect from mobile device in IPBX

Apparatus and methods concerning call routing are disclosed. As an example, one apparatus includes an interface circuit configured to route calls, as data communications, between a cellular network or PSTN and a plurality of communication devices on an IP network. In response to receiving a first call notification from one of a plurality of mobile devices, a processing circuit of the apparatus caches the call notification for a period of time in a first database. A first call notification indicates a source number and a destination number. In response to a first incoming call via the cellular or PSTN network from the source number included in the cached call notification, the processing circuit redirects the call to the destination number indicated in the call notification via the cellular or PSTN network.

MULTIPLE DWELLING HOUSE INTERPHONE SYSTEM

A multiple dwelling house interphone system includes a collective entrance machine, a dwelling room master device, and a management master device. The management master device is installed in a manager room to speak with the visitor or the dweller. The multiple dwelling house interphone system has a reception mode in which a call to any dwelling unit from the collective entrance machine is uniformly transmitted to the management master device. The management master device includes a forwarding button and a forwarding control section. The forwarding button re-forwards a call in the reception mode to an original calling destination. The forwarding control section re-forwards the call to the dwelling room master device of a dwelling unit as the original calling destination when the forwarding button is operated when a speech path is formed with the collective entrance machine in response to the call forwarded in the reception mode.

Enhanced caller information used for nuisance caller management

A system may include one or more of a called device, a calling device, configured to call the called device, and a network module. The network module is configured to process incoming call information of a call placed to the called device and configured to route the call to a destination based on preferences of the called device.

METHODS FOR MANAGING CALL TRAFFIC AT A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT SERVER

A virtual assistant server receives a web request such as a HTTP request with one or more call parameters corresponding to a call redirected from an interactive voice response server. The virtual assistant server inputs the received one or more call parameters to a predictive model, which identifies, based on the one or more call parameters, an intelligent communication mode to route the redirected call to. Subsequently, the virtual assistant server routes the redirected call to the intelligent communication mode.

ROUTING OF DATA INCLUDING MULTIMEDIA BETWEEN ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Rerouting apparatus for rerouting data including multimedia data. The apparatus is for association with electronic equipment and allows for routing the data to a device regarded as the most convenient for playing the media. The apparatus comprises an announcer device for indicating to surrounding equipment that associated equipment is available for rerouting, thereby to enable receipt of rerouted communications therefrom, and a scout device for scanning surroundings of the associated equipment to find out about compatible equipment in the vicinity, thereby to reroute communications thereto. The apparatus may be attached to any device having data processing capability, to enable rerouting of data and communications therebetween.

System and method for utilizing SMS functionality to schedule follow-up

A method and system facilitate scheduling of a response to a text directed to a landline by maintaining a registration of a handler system with a text hub, wherein the text hub intercepts text messages forwarded through a mobile carrier to multiple dedicated landlines. A message router of the registered handler system identifies the destination landline and routes the text message to a call center server system based on the identified destination landline. The method additionally includes processing the text message at the call center server utilizing a text processor. The text processor identifies a text sender, schedules a follow-up communication at a follow-up time, and queues the text message and scheduled follow-up.

Electronic device and communication relaying method thereof

According to an embodiment, an electronic device may include a communication circuit, a display, a processor, and a memory. The memory may be store instructions which, when executed, configure the processor to control the electronic device to: control the communication circuit to receive a call from a first external electronic device, identify a receiving phone number of the call, identify a second external electronic device in a communication group set corresponding to the receiving phone number among at least one phone number registered based on information about a user account stored in the memory, and control the communication circuit to relay the call to the identified second external electronic device.
