GROUP COMMUNICATION SYSTEM II
Group communication system comprising at least three communication devices, preferably a multiplicity of communication devices, wherein the communication devices communicate in at least one radio network directly, without the interposition of a static transmitting/receiving station, wherein each communication device provides a communication channel at least for the transmission of a sound, in particular voice, signal, wherein each communication device comprises at least one sensor for capturing data, in particular a motion sensor and/or temperature sensor and/or a tactile sensor and/or . . . , and provides a data channel for transmitting sensor data and/or signals on the basis of sensor data.
Chat call within group call
Methods and systems for managing a radio communication group call. One system includes a server configured to be communicatively coupled to a first communication device, a second communication device and a third communication device. The server includes an electronic processor configured to establish a half-duplex group call between the first communication device, the second communication device, and the third communication device. The processor receives, from the second communication device, an audio signal and receives, from the first communication device, a soft preemption talk request. The electronic processor establishes, in response to receiving the soft preemption talk request, a full-duplex private call between the first communication device and the second communication device and transmits audio of the full-duplex private call to the third communication device.
AUTOMATED QUEUING SYSTEM AND QUEUE MANAGEMENT
Electronic conferences often comprise a mixture of on-site and remote participants. A moderator may selectively engage remote participants for full-duplex interactions, such in response to the remote participant raising their hand to signal a question or desire to speak. Systems and methods are provided to enable a moderator to utilize natural speech to be utilized as voice commands, and with no other input, to cause a remote participant to be unmuted, enabling full-duplex for the associated remote terminal, and when the question is done, re-muted and thereby returned to half-duplex.
Conferencing and meeting implementations with advanced features
Meeting and conferencing systems and methods are implemented in a variety of manners. Consistent with one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for operating an audio conference system that includes at least one logic circuit and a caller interface involves receiving incoming telephony calls at the caller interface. A logic circuit is used to authenticate incoming telephony calls. Menu options are provided to authenticated, incoming telephony calls. In response to a selection of the menu options, an incoming telephony call is prompted to select a callback number. The logic circuit monitors for a trigger event. A participant is called back using the selected call back number in response to detecting the trigger event. The called-back participant is then placed into a conference.
CONFERENCE SYSTEM VOLUME CONTROL
A method, system and computer program product includes detecting a volume level for audio input of a first user in a multi-user conference call, and automatically adjusting a volume level for a second user receiving audio output of the first user based on at least one of preferences of the second user, historic data between the first and the second user, and geographic characteristics of the audio input of the first user.
Conference system
A conference system, capable of reliably managing a connection state of a discussion unit and a control unit and continuously acquiring information from the discussion unit when a connection abnormality occurs, is provided. A conference system S includes a control unit 1 and a discussion unit 2, a running packet is repeatedly transmitted and received between both units, the running packet includes a counter flag, the control unit includes a CU communication portion 11, a CU storage portion 13, and a CU control portion 16, the discussion unit includes a DU control portion 26, the DU control portion increments the count value of the counter flag, and each time the running packet is received from the discussion unit, the CU control portion compares a count value stored in the CU storage portion and the count value of the counter flag included in the running packet received from the discussion unit.
TELECONFERENCE RECORDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An example operation may include one or more of receiving a plurality of local audio files from a plurality of audio devices that participated in a teleconference, where each local audio file includes a locally captured audio recording of a user of a respective audio device during the teleconference, generating combined audio playback information for the teleconference based on the plurality of local audio files received from the plurality of audio devices, the generating including detecting audio portions within the plurality of local audio files and synchronizing a playing order of the detected audio portions based on timing information included in the plurality of local audio files, and transmitting the combined audio playback information of the teleconference to at least one audio device among the plurality of audio devices.
Request to Hand Over a Session Between a Mobile Communication Device and a Customer Premises Equipment
Methods, systems, and apparatus can be used to provide handover of on-hold sessions in converged networks. In various example implementations, an on-hold session between a mobile communication device and a fixed packet network-connected peer CPE can be handed over from a fixed packet domain to a cellular domain, and vice versa. In various example implementations, an on-hold session between a mobile communication device and a PSTN-connected peer CPE can be handed over from a fixed packet domain to a cellular domain, and vice versa.
Teleconference recording management system

Voice communication system, voice communication method, and voice communication program
Provided is a voice communication system that notifies a terminal device of transmission restriction information when the number of received voice signals reaches a predetermined number. A server device continuously counts the number of simultaneously received voice signals. A first terminal device transmits, to the server device, a voice signal with identification information of a second terminal device. The server device transfers, to the second terminal device, the voice signal transmitted from the first terminal device. However, when the number of simultaneous receptions of the voice signals reaches a predetermined restriction value, the server device transfers, to the second terminal device, the received voice signal with transmission restriction information attached thereto. The second terminal device does not transmit a voice signal, even if a user performs a transmission operation, during reception of the voice signal with the attached transmission restriction information.
