Systems, methods, and computer programs for providing advertisements in a conference user interface
Various embodiments of methods, systems, and computer programs are disclosed for providing advertisements in a conference user interface. One embodiment is a method comprising: a conferencing system establishing a conference between a plurality of participants via a corresponding computing device connected to the conferencing system via a communication network; presenting a conference user interface to the computing devices, the conference user interface displaying each of the participants as a unique participant object in a virtual location; an online advertising platform selecting advertisement data from one or more advertisers; providing the selected advertisement data to the conferencing system; and displaying the advertisement data with an associated advertisement object in the virtual location during the conference.
Apparatus, system, and method of controlling session, and recording medium
A control apparatus determines one of a plurality of relay devices as a representative relay device to manage a relay destination of content data in a session to be established. In response to receiving a request for starting relay of content data, from a communication terminal, the control apparatus transmits, with a request for starting relay of content data, relay device identification information for identifying the representative relay device to a relay device connected to the communication terminal, to cause the relay device to further transmit the request for starting relay of content data to the representative relay device identified with the relay device identification information of the representative relay device.
CONTROL SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
A control system includes first and second control devices. The first control device is connected to a first communication terminal to control a session for sending and receiving contents data. The second control device is connected to a second communication terminal to control a session for sending and receiving contents data. The first control device receives a start request for starting communication between the communication terminals, and sends the start request to the second communication terminal. The second control device receives authorization for starting communication between the first and second communication terminals, and sends the authorization to the first communication terminal.
Relaying device, method of relaying communication packet and voice communication system
[Problem] To achieve a voice communication system which communicates between two networks that use partially overlapping address spaces. [Solution] According to the present invention, first and second networks are connected to one another by means of a gateway device provided with: a first protocol stack which manages transmission and reception addresses of communication packets in the first network; a second protocol stack which manages transmission and reception addresses of communication packets in the second network; and a call control unit which, upon reception of a communication packet from either network, determines the transfer destination network and transfer destination address of the packet on the basis of call destination information included in the packet.
RESPONSIVE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A spoken communication system and method of communicating spoken communication, includes a server and at least one communication device that are in digital communication with each other over the Internet via a communication channel. The at least one communication device receives spoken communication and digitally communicate the spoken communication to the server. The spoken communication is isolated from interception on the Internet by deleting the spoken communication from the at least one communication device after digitally communicating the spoken communication to the server and deleting the spoken communication from storage on the server. Also, privacy is ensured to a user by avoiding building a database of user's habits or characteristics from the spoken communication.
RETROACTIVE RECORDING OF A MEETING
Systems and methods for recording a meeting using a retroactive record feature. The present technology provides for improved systems and methods for providing a recording of a virtual meeting, where a selection to initiate the recording from the beginning or an earlier time in the meeting from a current time may be received after the virtual meeting has started. The system may process received meeting content streams to generate a plurality of data segments that may collectively form a meeting recording. Each data segment, for example, may include meeting content associated with a particular user/attendee and associated with a timestamp and/or time duration. In some examples, the plurality of data segments may be stored on a blockchain, which may provide an immutable meeting record that may be concatenated together and made available for playback based on a selection to record the meeting and consent given by the users/attendees.
CONFERENCE TERMINAL AND MULTI-DEVICE COORDINATING METHOD FOR CONFERENCE
A conference terminal and a multi-device coordinating method for the conference are provided. In the method, multiple conference terminals are allocated to a plurality of areas according to location relationship. Each area includes one or more conference terminals that are close in the location relationship. An input sound signal is obtained from picking up a sound by the conference terminal in each area. The input sound signal of the one or more conference terminals in a first area among the areas is allocated to the one or more conference terminals in a second area among the areas to be played. The input sound signal obtained from picking up the sound by the conference terminal in each area is not played by any conference terminal in the same area.
CONCURRENT COLLABORATION CONFERENCE PORT MANAGEMENT
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems and methods for a collaboration conferencing system to track a total number of concurrently utilized ports across any number of conferencing bridges of the network for a particular customer and one or more billing actions may occur based on this tracking. This may result in an alternate billing option for the customer's use of the system. Further, a telecommunications network administrator may provide access to the collaboration conferencing system based on a total number of concurrently utilized ports rather than on a per conference or per minute basis. With the information of the number of purchased ports by the customer, the administrator may more accurately predict an available capacity for the collaboration conferencing system needed to support all of the users of the system and the potential collaboration conferences.
Video conference implementation method, server and computer readable storage medium
Disclosed are a video conference implementation method and server, and a computer readable storage medium. The method includes: a video conference server receiving from a terminal a virtual conference number of a conference to be convened; detecting whether the virtual conference number and a corresponding conference state are contained in a stored virtual conference draft; if the virtual conference number is contained and the state is “not convened”, sending to a multipoint control unit conference parameters corresponding to the virtual conference number, and receiving a conference state returned by the multipoint control unit.
Dynamically expandable conference call system using active load balancing
Systems and methods for providing a dynamically expandable conference call system using load balancing are described herein. Various examples use a media replication server. The media replication server accesses state information of one or more media control units. The state information is used to instantiate one or more media control unit high availability pairs. The media replication server further replicates media received into the conference call system by transmitting the received media to both an active media control unit and a standby media control unit. The media replication server may make modifications to the media control units handling a conference call to adjust for varying conditions such as a failure of one or more of the media control units or the addition of clients to the conference call.
