Concurrent collaboration conference port management
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems and methods for a collaboration conferencing system to track a total number of concurrently utilized ports across any number of conferencing bridges of the network for a particular customer and one or more billing actions may occur based on this tracking. This may result in an alternate billing option for the customer's use of the system. Further, a telecommunications network administrator may provide access to the collaboration conferencing system based on a total number of concurrently utilized ports rather than on a per conference or per minute basis. With the information of the number of purchased ports by the customer, the administrator may more accurately predict an available capacity for the collaboration conferencing system needed to support all of the users of the system and the potential collaboration conferences.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING, ANALYZING AND PROVIDING VISUALIZATIONS OF MULTI-PARTY DIALOGS
Systems and methods are provided for managing and analyzing multi-party dialogs (e.g., call) between communication devices. A digital connection is established with each of a plurality of communication devices. The connection is switched between the communication devices from a POTS connection to digital connections, enabling the communication devices to communicate with each other via the computing device over the digital connections. Audio signals are part of a multi-party dialog between users of the plurality of communication devices. The received audio signals are split into corresponding first signals and second signals. The first signals are transmitted to the plurality of communication devices and are analyzed to produce measurements of features of the second signals. Feedback data is transmitted to at least one of the plurality of communication devices.
CONFERENCE AUDIO MANAGEMENT
A method for managing audio during a conference includes steering, at a spatial steering processor of a mobile device, first decoded audio to be projected from a speaker at a first angle. The method also includes steering, at the spatial steering processor, second decoded audio to be projected from the speaker at a second angle. The first decoded audio corresponds to a decoded version of a first audio stream from a first device associated with a first participant of the conference, and the second decoded audio corresponds to a decoded version of a second audio stream from a second device associated with a second participant of the conference. The first decoded audio is synchronized with the second decoded audio.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VIRTUAL TALK GROUP MEMEBER TO PERFORM AN ASSIGNMENT
A method of operating a talk group server to control a virtual talk group member. During operation, the talk group server determines an assignment for a virtual talk group member to join a first talk group and communicate on behalf of a talk group member associated with a second talk group. The talk group server obtains user profile associated with the talk group member and causes the virtual talk group member to join the first talk group using the user profile associated with the talk group member. The talk group server then controls the virtual talk group member to perform the assignment by generating audio communications as a function of the user profile associated with the talk group member and transmitting audio communications on the first talk group.
Participant profiling in a conferencing system
A computer system comprises a conference system for providing an audio conference and an associated server having a participant profile module comprising: logic configured to presenting a conference user interface to the first and second computing devices, the conference user interface displaying a first object identifying the first participant in association with a first audio indicator and a second object identifying the second participant in association with a second audio indicator; logic configured to present, in the conference user interface, a participant profile control associated with the first participant for specifying one or more profile parameters associated with the first participant; and logic configured to receive, from the second participant via the second computing device and during the audio conference, a selection of the one or more or more profile parameters associated with the first participant.
TELECOMMUNICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SIMPLIFYING COMMUNICATION SUCH AS CONFERENCE CALLS
A method of simplifying electronic communications between a plurality of users by communication implementation and management. Each user has an electronic identifier, which may be of a type, such as a website address, domain, LinkedIn address, etc. Each identifier is unique to each user. The methods disclosed facilitate communication amalgamation between otherwise disparate electronic platforms. In one embodiment, different conference calling platforms may be amalgamated with simultaneous call out to users. In other embodiments, a conference calling platforms may be amalgamated with an electronic communication platform which is not a conference calling platform to render the latter effectively operational as the former in a unified manner.
Apparatus, system, and method of determining destination for state information, and recording medium
A control system includes a plurality of control apparatuses each capable of controlling a first communication terminal connected to the control apparatus. Each control apparatus transmits search information including terminal identification information for identifying a second communication terminal to other control apparatuses of the plurality of control apparatuses, searches for one of the other control apparatuses that is connected to the second communication terminal based on responses that are transmitted from the other control apparatuses in response to the search information, and transmits state information indicating a state of the first communication terminal connected to the control apparatus to the searched control apparatus connected to the second communication terminal.
Systems and methods for managing, analyzing and providing visualizations of multi-party dialogs
Systems and methods are provided for managing and analyzing multi-party dialogs (e.g., calls) between communication devices.
Communication method and storage medium storing communication program
A communication method includes: transmitting a change request from a first conference server to a management server; determining that a second conference server is a conference server after change; transmitting an ID identifying the second conference server from the management server to the first conference server; transmitting a control request from the first conference server to the second conference server based on the ID; performing communication between the second conference server and the management server to confirm whether the second conference server is permitted to control the particular conference room; performing an initialization processing to control the particular conference room; transmitting a completion notification of initialization from the second conference server to the first conference server; transmitting a change instruction from the first conference server to each particular client; connecting each particular client with the second conference server; and disconnecting connection between each particular client and the first conference server.
Conference audio management
A method for managing audio during a conference includes receiving, at a first buffer of a mobile device, a first audio stream from a first device associated with a first participant of the conference. The method also includes receiving, at a second buffer of the mobile device, a second audio stream from a second device associated with a second participant of the conference. The method further includes generating a control signal at a delay controller of the mobile device. The control signal is provided to the first buffer and to the second buffer to synchronize first buffered audio that is output from the first buffer with second buffered audio that is output from the second buffer.
