TRANSCRIPTION OF COMMUNICATIONS
20190333517 · 2019-10-31 ·

A system may include a camera configured to obtain an image of a user, at least one processor, and at least one non-transitory computer-readable media communicatively coupled to the at least one processor. The non-transitory computer-readable media configured to store one or more instructions that when executed cause or direct the system to perform operations. The operations may include establish a communication session between the system and a device. The communication session may be configured such that the device provides audio for the system. The operations may further include compare the image to a particular user image associated with the system and select a first method of transcription generation from among two or more methods of transcription generation based on the comparison of the image to the particular user image. The operations may also include present, a transcription of the audio generated using the selected first method of transcription generation.

System and method for unified call logs with support for call continuity

Systems and methods provide a unified call log for user devices in a device group. A user device receives an invite message for an incoming call and stores first call log information including a caller identifier based on the invite message. The user device receives a status message indicating that another user device has answered the incoming call and stores second call log information including a timestamp for the status message. The user device receives a call information message for a new line between the user device and a device associated with the caller telephone number, determines that the new line is a handover call associated with the incoming call, and stores third call log information for the new line. The user device determines that the handover call on the new line is ended and generates a call log entry including information from the incoming call and the handover call.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOBILE NUMBER VERIFICATION

A mobile phone number that is been provided by a customer during enrollment is verified for use. SS7 protocol data associated with the mobile phone number is collected and evaluated, and if the condition of the subscriber account associated with the phone number has changed or is inconsistent with the circumstances surrounding the enrollment of the phone number, the phone number is designated as one that is not to be called.

Safe communication mode for a high speed link

A transmitter for a high speed serial communications link, a serial communications link, and a receiver for a high speed serial communications link are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the transmitter includes: (1) a communications interface connected to a transmission medium having multiple lanes, and (2) a safe mode circuit coupled to the communications interface and configured to send data over the transmission medium in a safe mode, wherein in the safe mode at least one of the lanes is dedicated to transmitting a link detect signal for link detection.

Computer-implemented method of processing an emergency call and emergency communication network

A method of processing an emergency call in an emergency communication network can include receiving an emergency call from an emergency caller from a first mobile communication device that is received via a SIP INVITE message; obtaining location information of the location of the first mobile communication device; determining a PSAP that is in the vicinity of the location of the first mobile communication device, and forwarding the emergency call to the PSAP for being handled by a call taker at the PSAP. The ESRP can request location information of all mobile communication devices that are in the vicinity of the first mobile communication device and, upon receipt of the location information, create a list of all mobile communication devices that are in the vicinity of the first mobile communication device for transmitting the list to the PSAP to be displayed at a display device of a call taker.

In implementations of packet-switched telephony, a packet switched telephony service provider receives a call request from a user device. The call request includes a telephone number corresponding to a public-switched telephone network subscriber. The call request is transmitted from the packet switched telephony service provider to a gateway for forwarding to the public-switched telephone network subscriber. A call is caused to be established between the user device and the public-switched telephone network subscriber.

COMMUNICATION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND NETWORK MANAGEMENT METHOD

The communication device of the embodiments is a communication device which, in a communication system having a management apparatus for acquiring device information on a device to be managed, transmits the device information to the management apparatus. The communication device includes a device information classifier and a unique information transmitter. The device information classifier classifies the device information into common information which is device information essential to the device related to the communication device and unique information which is device information unique to the device related to the communication device. The unique information transmitter transmits the unique information classified by the device information classifier to the management apparatus when there is a request from the management apparatus.
