VOICE ENABLED IOT USING SECOND LINE SERVICE
Enablement of a voice channel being established between an IoT device and a controller through the use of a voice-line service system.
Methods and systems for providing contextual information
Methods for providing contextual information about communication devices and/or services. Profile information indicating a user's communication devices and/or services is stored. When profile information or a message log is displayed, the user may identify a communication device and/or service. A query inquires whether the user would like contextual information. The contextual information may be obtained from a gateway in a data network or a telecommunications manager in a telecommunication network. The contextual information is displayed. Profile information about a user's communicating partner may be stored. When the user makes an effort to communicate with the partner, a check may be made of the partner's profile information for a preferred communication device and/or service. If the user does not have a communication device and/or service corresponding to that of the communicating partner, a query may inquire whether the user would like contextual information. If so, the contextual information is presented.
IPBX control interface for distributed networks
Apparatus and methods concerning routing of calls in an IPBX are disclosed. As an example, one apparatus includes an IPBX server configured to route VoIP calls for a plurality of end-users having respective VoIP-enabled devices communicatively coupled to the IPBX via a network. A user-activity detection circuit is communicatively coupled to the IPBX server. The user-activity detection circuit is configured to receive activity data indicating activity of end-users in a virtual office environment and receive event messages indicating statuses of pending calls in the IPBX server. The user-activity detection circuit determines user-activity statuses of the end-users based on received activity data and event messages. A computing server is communicatively coupled to the user-activity detection circuit and is configured to provide a set of services for one or more of the plurality of users as a function of the determined user-activity statuses of the end-user.
Redirecting Cellular Telephone Communications Through a Data Network
A method, system, and apparatus, including a program encoded on computer-readable medium, for routing communications to a mobile device includes registering a cellular telephone identifier with a visitor location register associated with a bridge mobile switching center adapted to receive communication through a cellular backbone network and route communications over a packet-switched network and determining that cellular communications using the cellular telephone identifier are disabled. A home location register associated with the cellular telephone is notified that the cellular telephone is roaming in a network served by the visitor location register. A communication directed to the cellular telephone is received at the bridge mobile switching center. The received communication is routed to the cellular telephone.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CALL ROUTING USING GENERIC CALL CONTROL PLATFORMS
Systems and methods for call routing using generic call control platforms are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a method for processing a communication request may include: (1) receiving, at a WebSocket layer in a call control platform, a communication request from a web application or a native desktop application; (2) identifying, by the call control platform, a destination infrastructure for the communication request; (3) opening, by the call control platform, a persistent connection with the destination infrastructure; (4) translating, by the call control platform, the communication request into low-level calls for the destination infrastructure; (5) routing, by the call control platform, the low-level calls to the destination infrastructure over the persistent connection; (6) receiving, by the call control platform, an acknowledgement from the destination infrastructure over the persistent connection; and (7) executing, by the call control platform, an action consistent with the communication request.
DEVICE, METHOD, PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROVISION SYSTEM FOR TELEPHONE NUMBER RESEARCH
According to one embodiment, a telephone number research device researches on the usage status of a telephone number in an IMS network, an NGN network, and an IP network without ringing an incoming call by transmitting a specific SIP message that causes call rejection using an IMS interconnection interface or the like for interconnection between carriers. The telephone number research device is connected via an NGN network to a telephone connected to a destination network that is an IMS network or a VoIP network. The telephone number research device adds a first SDP parameter to an INVITE request for the telephone before sending the request to the destination network selected by the NGN network and determines the usage status of the telephone number of the telephone based on a response from the destination network regardless of the type of the destination network.
Telephony web event system and method
An embodiment of the system for publishing events of a telephony application to a client includes a call router that generates events from the telephony application and an event router that manages the publication of events generated by the call router and that manages the subscription to events by clients. The system can be used with a telephony application that interfaces with a telephony device and an application server.

VOICE-OVER-INTERNET-PROTOCOL (VOIP) COMMUNICATIONS
Systems and methods are disclosed that enable an operator of a packet switched network to provide mobile telephone services in cooperation with an operator of a cellular network.
Apparatus, methods, or software for data mining user information by providing services over the internet for connecting people
.[.Anonymous voice communication between a first station and a second station is facilitated by providing an interface that allows input of a transaction specification from at least one of the first and second stations. A reference code associated with the transaction is generated, there being a defined relationship between the reference code and the address of the second station for voice communication. The reference code is supplied to the first station, and a voice communication request and the reference code are received from the first station. The reference code is used to recover said address and a channel for voice communication is opened between said first and second stations. Voice communication can thereby be established between the first and second stations without providing the address of the second station to the first station..]..Iadd.An Internet-based service system for data mining user information is herein disclosed and enabled. The disclosed service system may facilitate users posting information, advertising products/services, connecting to other users, and making transactions over the Internet. Data obtained from each transaction submitted through the service are data mined. The collected data may include personal information, private data, interests, intellectual property, etc. To create transactions, the system may create a proposed transaction specifying a transaction between first and second parties based, at least in part, on data mining the first and second party's history of transactions. The service system may transmit a reference code to the first party related to the proposed transaction, and wait to receive a communication request from the first party employing the reference code. The reference code may include text, image(s), video(s), audio, or communication link(s), and the proposed transaction may be an advertisement or matching service..Iaddend.
