Method for transferring an entitlement from a first party to a second party in a communication network. The second party which is preferably a mobile communication connects to a mobile communication network and to a peer-to-peer network. The second party selects, over the peer-to-peer network, entitlement offered by the first party to purchase or to use a product or a service. The second party effects the entitlement, using the mobile communication terminal, to purchase or to use the product or the service.

Systems and methods for providing renewable wireline and wireless services and goods

Methods for provisioning wireline or wireless services and goods to at least one prepaid or postpaid customer in a communications network are provided. In one such method, a request is received for at least one service or good from a prepaid customer and it is determined based upon the request if sufficient funds are available to pay for the requested service and, if not, a warning message is sent to the customer. If funds are available a payment for the requested service or good is deducted from the customer's account, the account balance is updated, and an authorization is sent to the service node that facilitates the requested service or good. Upon receipt of the authorization, the service node is permitted to access the requested service or good in accordance with a parameter. Other similar methods are provided for postpaid customers.

Device-enabled eSIM Profile Acquisition
20190069122 · 2019-02-28 ·

Device-enabled embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) profile acquisition is described. Server(s) associated with a service provider can receive, from an application of a device operated by a user, identification data including at least an identifier corresponding to an eSIM associated with the device. The server(s) can store an association between a profile and the identifier in a database. The server(s) can receive, from the device, a request for the profile, which can include the identifier. The server(s) can access the database to identify, based at least in part on the identifier, the association between the profile and the identifier and provision, to the device, the profile to cause the profile to be associated with the eSIM associated with the device.

Multi-card resource management method, device and multi-card terminal

A multiple subscriber identity module cards (multi-SIM) resource management method, device and multi-SIM terminal. The method comprises: acquiring a subscriber identity module card list in a terminal, the subscriber identity module card list comprising all subscriber identity module cards in the terminal; and if a remaining quantity of a service resource on a subscriber identity module card currently used in the terminal is less than or equal to a preset remaining quantity threshold, then automatically switching to a subscriber identity module card having a sufficient service resource and in the subscriber identity module card list.

Service design center for device assisted services

A network service plan provisioning system processes multiple service plan components, where the components are allowed to have respective traffic classification filters that, due to an overlap in classification, can each match the same network traffic event. A user can include multiple such components in the same service plan by creating a prioritization. The provisioning system processes and deploys the components to one or more network devices via an instruction set such that all such components are active for the service plan but the prioritization determines which component is activated when multiple component filters match a network traffic event.

Wireless account management application for a wireless device

A method for displaying wireless service usage information and account information using an account management application operating on a wireless device includes receiving, at the account management application operating on the wireless device and from a tracking module locally stored on the wireless device, wireless service usage information for a wireless subscriber associated with the wireless device, the wireless service usage information including one or more units of wireless services that the wireless subscriber has used, receiving, at the account management application operating on the wireless device and from a service provider over a wireless network, account information associated with the wireless subscriber associated with the wireless device, the service provider being different from the wireless device and the wireless network, and enabling presentation, on a display of the wireless device, of the account management application including the wireless service usage information and the account information for the wireless subscriber associated with the wireless device.

DYNAMIC PRICING FOR USE OF NETWORK

In one aspect, a first device includes a processor, a display accessible to the processor, and storage accessible to the processor. The storage bears instructions executable by the processor to receive data from a second device different from the first device comprising a price for usage of a first network, and to present at least a first option on the display. The first option indicates the price for usage of the first network and is selectable to enable the first device to communicate using subscriber identification module (SIM) data with a third device over the first network. The instructions are also executable to, in response to selection of the first option, enable the first device to communicate using the SIM data with at least the third device over the first network.
