This disclosure provides methods, systems, services, and platforms for automatically prompting a user of a mobile device to follow an entity on a social media network after a triggering event. This disclosure enables Mobile Network Operators to generate more followers on social media, and, thereby, connect better with potential customers or fans. When a business, group, or other entity has an active social media campaign, a message comprising instructions to launch a browser on a mobile device and navigate to the entity's social media page is sent automatically after a triggering event occurs.

A method for providing an online market place for purchasing service from a variety of servers is provided. A GUI or application having a page having a list of carriers for the user to select is sent to a mobile device. A selection of a carrier is received. In response, an encrypted IMSI and Ki are sent to the mobile device. The GUI or application may include other pages for the user to manage service.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, services, and platforms for prompting a user to respond to an offer on a mobile device. The disclosure enables Mobile Network Operators to create campaigns to target customers who are nearing the limit of their data plans, voice plans, SMS plans, and MMS plans. A method at a user equipment to facilitate activation and splitting of data billing between at least two parties, the method including starting, at the user equipment, a virtual subscriber identity module platform (VSP) service on the user equipment; verifying VSP configuration information with a network server; upon verification, starting a data networking access point name (APN) based on the configuration information on the user equipment; and setting a status indicator on the user equipment to indicate the VSP service is enabled.

A method of selecting a public land mobile network (PLMN) for enabling a user equipment (UE) to communicate and a user equipment are provided. Apparatuses, methods, and systems are provided for securely configuring a Java Card virtual machine operating on a cellular device's application processor. In one embodiment, a connected device with an integrated cellular modem, a virtual universal integrated circuit chip and an integrated fingerprint scanner are used. In another embodiment, the cellular device's built-in camera is used, instead of an integrated fingerprint scanner, to capture the user's facial image.

Methods and devices for scheduling data packet transmissions on a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) wireless communication device having at least a first SIM and a virtual SIM (VSIM) application associated with a shared radio frequency (RF) resource may include detecting registration of a SIM profile for the VSIM application, in which the VSIM application is provisioned to operate as a VSIM, and determining whether a VSIM management procedure is required for the VSIM. When a VSIM management procedure is required for the VSIM, the wireless communication device may tag data packets associated with the required VSIM management procedure, select a prioritization policy for data packet transmissions on the RF resource, and apply the selected prioritization policy within a transmission queue on the RF resource.
