GLOBAL PLATFORM FOR MANAGING SUBSCRIBER IDENTITY MODULES
Disclosed is method comprising: storing in a home location register (HLR) at least one subscription record of a mobile device of the plurality of mobile devices, the mobile device having a subscriber identity module (SIM) identified by a currently activated first international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI), the currently activated first IMSI belonging to a set of IMSIs allocated to the system, wherein the provisioning server is operative to: receive a notification that the mobile devices has moved into a first one of the wireless networks; confirm that an allocation rule is satisfied; add and activate a second one of the IMSIs in the set of IMSIs to the HLR and remove the currently activated first IMSI from the HLR; and send the second IMSI to the mobile device to enable the mobile device to communicate wirelessly in the first wireless network as a local device.
APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR VIRTUALIZING A REPROGRAMMABLE UNVERSAL INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CHIP
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are provided for virtualizing a reprogrammable universal integrated circuit chip (UICC) in a connected device's operating system. In one embodiment, an integrated cellular modem in the connected device is configured to use a simple protocol to communicate with the reprogrammable UICC. The protocol may be implemented in a way that allows cellular modem vendors to easily support such functionality and allow original equipment manufacturers to upgrade connected devices already deployed in the field.

Systems and methods for switching zero charge callers
Asynchronous and/or synchronous zero charge telephony protocol systems and methods may include an asynchronous signaling switch and/or a call duration time quota from a synchronous charging onset to place and complete a call. A call request is received with a second device mobile address. The asynchronous systems include instructions to automatically modify the mobile address with a routing prefix when the first device has insufficient balance or independent of balance, route to the asynchronous signaling switch based on an associated modified address trunk path, revert to the call signal at the asynchronous signaling switch, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call immediately when the call is completed. The synchronous systems include instructions to automatically set the call duration time quota upon insufficient balance, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call from the second user mobile device when the call is completed and the call duration time quota is exceeded.
Display method and electronic device
This application discloses a display method and an electronic device, and relates to the field of terminal technologies. The method includes: sending, by the electronic device in response to a first operation, a profile download request to an operator network; and receiving a profile, where the profile includes profile metadata, and the profile metadata includes at least one field; and in response to a second operation, displaying a first screen on a display based on the profile metadata, where the first screen includes at least one of a first option indicating a network standard, a second option indicating a card type, a third option indicating account balance information of the profile, a fourth option indicating information about a remaining data volume of an account data plan, and a fifth option indicating a state of an account. This allows a user to learn profile capabilities before activating the profile.
Techniques for implementing phone number-based user accounts with permissions to access varying levels of services utilizing visible and hidden contact addresses
This application sets forth techniques for managing phone number-based user accounts. According to some embodiments, a server computing device can be configured to carry out the steps of (1) receiving, from a first client computing device, a request to create a user account based on a phone number, (2) in response to authenticating that the first client computing device is associated with the phone number: creating the user account based on the phone number, creating a hidden contact address based on the phone number, and assigning the hidden contact address to the user account, and (3) in response to receiving a notification that a second client computing device is associated with the phone number: requiring the user account to be updated to be based on a different phone number, or assigning, to the user account, a visible contact address based on the phone number.
TECHNIQUES FOR IMPLEMENTING USER IDENTIFIER-BASED USER ACCOUNTS WITH PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS VARYING LEVELS OF SERVICES UTILIZING VISIBLE AND HIDDEN CONTACT ADDRESSES
This application sets forth techniques for managing user identifier-based user accounts. According to some embodiments, a server computing device can be configured to carry out the steps of (1) receiving, from a first client computing device, a request to create a user account based on a user identifier, (2) in response to authenticating that the first client computing device is associated with the user identifier: creating the user account based on the user identifier, creating a hidden contact address based on the user identifier, and assigning the hidden contact address to the user account, and (3) in response to receiving a notification that a second client computing device is associated with the user identifier: requiring the user account to be updated to be based on a different user identifier, or assigning, to the user account, a visible contact address based on the user identifier.
AUTOMATIC AFTER CALL SURVEY AND CAMPAIGN-BASED CUSTOMER FEEDBACK COLLECTION PLATFORM
This disclosure provides systems, methods, services, and platforms for automatically prompting a user of a mobile device to send feedback after a triggering event. This disclosure enables Mobile Network Operators to immediately solicit timely feedback from a mobile user after an interaction with the user. When a business, group, or other entity has an active survey campaign, a survey message comprising one or more response options is automatically sent to a mobile device after a triggering event occurs. Based on the user's selected response option, subsequent, follow-up survey messages can be automatically sent to the mobile device.
