Identity management for mobile devices
A method of managing identities for use in a mobile telecommunications device in a telecommunications network has the following features. The identity management process is triggered and one or more parameters of a currently available mobile telecommunications network detected. An identity database is searchedeach record in the identity database comprises an identity and additional identity information for each identity. The additional identity information includes the one or more parameters. The identity management process involves selecting an identity when a first record comprising the one or more parameters detected is found in said searching and modifying an active identity of the mobile telecommunications device to be the selected identity when the active identity is not already the selected identity. This process can be carried out by a subscriber information module of a mobile telecommunications device.
Apparatuses, methods and systems for implementing a system-on-chip with integrated reprogrammable cellular network connectivity
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are provided for configuring a SIM-less System-on-Chip (S2oC) with integrated reprogrammable cellular network connectivity. Digitally issued Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards may be digitally issued by a remote server and downloaded and managed by the S2oC. A virtual SIM card container may be packaged in the S2oC and hosts an identity manager used by a plurality of applications residing in the multi-core processor of the S2oC. A virtual modem with a custom communication protocol allows the multi-core processor applications to exchange data with the virtual SIM card container.
Systems and methods for product activation
The disclosure is related to systems and methods of smart packaging. In one example, a package can include an embedded data storage element that is readable at a point-of-sale terminal and includes custom data stored on the data storage element. The custom data may be associated with a specific product related to the package, such as a SIM card or phone. The custom data can include information to allow a process related to the product to be performed. The process may include allowing activation of the product only when an indicator at a server indicates the package was processed at an authorized terminal.
Automated account provisioning
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to systems, methods, and apparatus for allowing an issuer to initiate account provisioning on a mobile device without interacting with an accountholder. The issuer may initiate the process by sending a provisioning information request message to a mobile device with a secure element. The mobile device may recognize the provisioning request message and gather the requisite provisioning information without requiring user input. The provisioning information may include information associated with the secure element of the mobile device. The mobile device may then send a provisioning request message to a provisioning system. The provisioning request message may include the requisite provisioning information to allow the provisioning system to provision the financial account on the secure element of the mobile device.
INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGN-BASED CUSTOMER FEEDBACK COLLECTION PLATFORM
This disclosure provides systems, methods, services, and platforms for prompting a user to respond to an offer on a mobile device. The disclosure enables Mobile Network Operators to create campaigns to target customers who are nearing the limit of their data plans, voice plans, SMS plans, and MMS plans. In some embodiments, the cloud server interacts with a client application to prompt the use of a mobile device to respond to an offer send in a campaign. The disclosure also provides embodiments to check to see if the user has opted out of receiving offers, or if a device can not execute a command, or if a threshold number of offers has already been sent. This disclosure also provides embodiments for authenticating third party account log-in.
Automatic after call application download platform
This disclosure provides methods, systems, and platforms for automatically prompting a mobile device user to download an application to their mobile device after a triggering event. Triggering events include calling a business, receiving a call from a business, and navigating to a website. In some embodiments, a business can run a targeted campaign to automatically prompt a mobile device user to download an application. In some embodiments, the platform interacts with an application installed on the mobile device. The prompt displayed on the mobile device includes an actionable option to download an application.
Automatic aftercall directory and phonebook entry advertising
This disclosure provides methods, services, and platforms that automatically prompt mobile phone users to add contact information to their phone book after a triggering event such as calling a phone number. The methods, services, and platforms allow mobile network operators to provide a service that allows businesses to potentially have their numbers added to the phonebook of a mobile phone after a disconnected call.
PROVISIONING OF SIMS FOR A TESTING ENVIRONMENT OF A WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
A wireless communication network includes a testing environment that comprises a plurality of nodes. One or more nodes of the wireless communication network are selected for performing at least one of (i) one or more tests or (ii) one or more procedures. A listing of a plurality of subscriber identity modules (SIMs) provisioned in a home location register for use in the testing environment is provided on a testing platform. Based upon the one or more nodes, a SIM is selected for use in accessing the one or more nodes. Based upon the SIM, data from the at least one of (i) one or more tests or (ii) one or more procedures is provisioned with respect to a primary key of the SIM. The at least one of (i) one or more tests or (ii) one or more procedures is performed with respect to the one or more nodes.
Apparatuses, methods and systems for configuring a trusted java card virtual machine using biometric information
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are provided for securely configuring a Java Card virtual machine operating on a cellular device's application processor. In one embodiment, a connected device with an integrated cellular modem, a virtual universal integrated circuit chip and an integrated fingerprint scanner are used. In another embodiment, the cellular device's built-in camera is used, instead of an integrated fingerprint scanner, to capture the user's facial image.
