A process for authorizing wireless service includes providing a generally rectangular flat form factor card having a first surface and opposing second surface. The process further includes providing a machine-readable activation code arranged on the first surface, wherein the machine-readable activation code is configured to authorize the wireless service when provided to a system associated with a wireless service provider, receiving the machine-readable activation code in a server, the machine-readable activation code being captured by a wireless device, and provisioning the wireless service to the wireless device from a wireless network when the machine-readable activation code is provided to the system associated with the wireless network.

An electronic device which displays and updates Mobile Network Operator (MNO) information includes a memory, a display, a communicator, a user inputter, and a processor. The processor is configured to control the display to display a contact list including telephone number information of a plurality of external devices and Mobile Network Operator (MNO) information of the plurality of external devices, and in response to a user command for selecting one of the plurality of external devices included in the contact list being input, establish a communication connection with the selected external device. The processor is further configured to control the communicator to receive information regarding the MNO information of the external device from the selected external device; and update the contact list based on the MNO information of the external device and store the updated contact list in the memory.

A unique URL may be created that when entered into a web browser presents a webpage that includes at least the restaurant bill data. The unique URL may be used by the customer to pay the restaurant bill.

A method and system of restoring a functionality of a mobile user device. A lock screen is displayed on the display of the user device. An international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) of a subscriber identity module (SIM) card presently installed in the user device is determined. The IMSI is sent to a Remote Recovery Server (RRS). A message is received from the RRS indicating whether the IMSI is authorized for the user device and whether an account of the user device is replenished at least in part. Upon determining that the IMSI is authorized for the user device and the account of the user device is replenished at least in part, at least one function that was previously restricted is restored.

An intelligent interface responds to an order received in a text messaging session by initiating payment from an electronic wallet. An IP network interface receives requests including a source phone number, message content and the destination phone number. From the requests, an order program receives an order destined to a client establishment associated with the destination phone number. A response is generated with payment options from an electronic wallet associated with the source phone number. This disclosure provides systems, methods, services, and platforms for prompting a user to respond to an offer on a mobile device. The disclosure enables Mobile Network Operators to create campaigns to target customers who are nearing the limit of their data plans, voice plans, SMS plans, and MMS plans. In some embodiments, the cloud server interacts with a client application to prompt the use of a mobile device to respond to an offer send in a campaign. The disclosure also provides embodiments to check to see if the user has opted out of receiving offers, or if a device can not execute a command, or if a threshold number of offers has already been sent. This disclosure also provides embodiments for authenticating third party account log-in.

A mobile device with a disabling feature is disclosed. The method includes activating a mobile device having a timeout feature to disable a function of the mobile device after a set period of time. The period of time may be chosen by a user of the mobile device.
