METHODS FOR PROCESSING INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH SALES FORCE MANAGEMENT, CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
System and methods are disclosed associated with processing information and/or initiating workflow in a CRM, Sales Force Automation, time and expense reporting system or professional services provider management system, including aggregating, analyzing and/or otherwise processing data related to real world events. According to some embodiments, event data is classified and event data requiring user input is determined, notifications to provide user input for the event data may be transmitted, and/or various features of follow-on workflow or launching follow-on workflow may be initiated, facilitated or provided. Various implementations also relate to classification, splitting events, merging events, time extensions/exceptions for processing events, processing of corollary events and the provision of chronologically organized historical records of interactions between groups of users and individuals or companies.
Method and system for implementing application programming interface (API) to provide network metrics and network resource control to users
Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing network application programming interface (API), and, more particularly, API to provide network metrics and network resource control to users. In some embodiments, a computing system might receive customer network telemetry data from a first network via a gateway API, might receive service provider network telemetry data from a second network(s) via a network API, might compile the customer network telemetry data and the service provider network telemetry data, might receive a request from a user to access information regarding network services associated with the user, might filter the compiled customer network telemetry data and the compiled service provider network telemetry data to isolate first telemetry data and second telemetry data, respectively, might provide the user with access to at least one of the first telemetry data or the second telemetry data, and might provide the user with options to control network resources.
Electronic device including a plurality of touch displays and method for changing status thereof
Disclosed is an electronic device including a plurality of touch displays. The electronic device includes a first touch display configured to face a first direction and comprise a first touch panel and a first display panel, a second touch display configured to face a second direction opposite the first direction and comprise a second touch panel and a second display panel, a rotation detection sensor configured to sense a rotation of the electronic device, a processor electrically connected to the first touch display, the second touch display and the rotation detection sensor, and memory electrically connected to the processor. The memory may store instructions which control the processor so that the processor changes each of the first touch panel and the first display panel from an on state to an off state and changes each of the second touch panel and the second display panel from the off state to the on state based on at least one rotation value received from the rotation detection sensor when the electronic device turns on a virtual axis.
System and Method for Providing User Notifications
A method performed by an end user device associated with a service plan having a limit on usage of a network service, the method comprising storing one or more notification actions corresponding to one or more notification requests; performing a device action that reflects a past or intended use of the network service; receiving one of the one or more notification requests from a network element in response to the device action; performing one of the one or more notification actions in response to the notification request, the notification action causing the end user device to retrieve at least a portion of a notification message associated with a status of the use, the at least a portion of the notification message being separate from the one of the one or more notification requests; and presenting the notification message on a user interface of the end user device.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRESENTING REAL-TIME VIDEO INFORMATION IN A CALL
A method and apparatus are provided for presenting multimedia content to a caller and/or a called party in association with a telephone call. Content may be presented pre-ring (before the called party's telephone rings), in-call, and/or post-call. Content presented to a party may be related to another party participating in the call or may be related to a third party (e.g., an advertiser that paid for the ability to have its content presented). Presented content may be actuable, to allow a caller to change the destination of a call, take advantage of an offer presented to him or her, redeem a coupon, schedule or queue a subsequent call, etc. To find a desired destination party, a caller may initiate a manual or automatic search of his or her local contacts (on his telephone) and/or a central or global directory or contact list.
Method To Reduce Mobile Telephone Charges By Immediate Disconnect And Redial
Various embodiments include methods that may be implemented on a mobile device to enable responding to an incoming mobile terminated (MT) call by promptly initiating a mobile originated (MO) call back to the calling mobile device with minimal delay. Various embodiments may include a mobile device receiving from a network a first paging request associated with a first service request for establishing a first MT call from another mobile device, activating a user interface feature for converting the first MT call to a first MO call from the mobile device to the other mobile device, sending to the network, a disconnect message with normal a clearing cause code such that the first MT call is promptly terminated, sending to the network a second service request for a second MO call to the other mobile device; and establishing the second MO call at the mobile device.
ON-DEVICE ATTRIBUTION OF NETWORK DATA USAGE
Embodiments attribute network data transfers to applications executing on a computing device. A data transfer service executes on the computing device to receive and process data transfer requests. The data transfer requests, populated by the applications, have identifiers attributed thereto to enable monitoring of the network data transfers per identifier. For example, network data transfers associated with different mail accounts of a mail program or different web sites of browser are attributed separately. Data usage statistics relating to the network data transfers for each identifier may be generated and presented to the user for review.
Wireless service card having machine readable codes and device and process for use therewith
A process for authorizing wireless service includes providing a generally rectangular flat form factor card having a first surface and opposing second surface. The process further includes providing a machine-readable activation code arranged on the first surface, wherein the machine-readable activation code is configured to authorize the wireless service when provided to a system associated with a wireless service provider, receiving the machine-readable activation code in a server, the machine-readable activation code being captured by a wireless device, and provisioning the wireless service to the wireless device from a wireless network when the machine-readable activation code is provided to the system associated with the wireless network.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING AND UPDATING MOBILE NETWORK OPERATION INFORMATION AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
An electronic device which displays and updates Mobile Network Operator (MNO) information includes a memory, a display, a communicator, a user inputter, and a processor. The processor is configured to control the display to display a contact list including telephone number information of a plurality of external devices and Mobile Network Operator (MNO) information of the plurality of external devices, and in response to a user command for selecting one of the plurality of external devices included in the contact list being input, establish a communication connection with the selected external device. The processor is further configured to control the communicator to receive information regarding the MNO information of the external device from the selected external device; and update the contact list based on the MNO information of the external device and store the updated contact list in the memory.
Method for controlling one-touch call mode of mobile terminal
A method for controlling a one-touch call mode of a mobile terminal, in which a user can select the call quality of a voice call in consideration of a calling rate. The user interface of the mobile terminal for the selection occupies only a minimum area, providing a small, efficient user interface. The method includes steps of: displaying, on one section of a touch screen, a one-touch call mode switching menu for switching between voice mode and data communication mode when the user makes a selection; and displaying, adjacent to the switching menu on the touch screen, rate per hour information predetermined according to a region for the voice mode or the data communication mode, as selected by the user. The rate per hour information is displayed as calculated with reference to the mode and the selected region, whenever the voice mode and the data communication mode are switched.
