A system and method provides communication between subscribers of a telephone network and the subscribers of an OTT provider website wherein each of the subscribers of the OTT provider website is assigned a telephone number in a block which is not assigned to any particular country. The system includes terminating a call (e.g., having voice, video, data, and/or messaging) from the telephone network directed to a number in the block, and passing the terminated call to a nearby entry point to the OTT provider website, the OTT website being configured to associate the incoming call with the user's account to which the called number has been assigned. Calls can be placed in the opposite direction, in which case the assigned number is passed into the telephone system as the calling party's number.
Charging processing method and system, and related device
A charging processing method includes: when a charging processing device for a user service is unavailable, storing charging data of the user service during the failure period, where the charging data includes charging data that is not sent or charging data that is not processed; and after it is determined that a charging processing device for the user service transitioned from unavailable to available, sending a charging request message that includes the charging data during the failure period to the available charging processing device, so that the available charging processing device performs charging processing on the charging data before a charging processing device transitioned to available. In this method, when the charging processing device or a network is faulty, interruption of the user service can be avoided, and a loss caused for an operator can be avoided.

Profiles are assigned to the users and applications based on the comparison. Embodiments manage use of different network connections for data transfer in view of priority information and a data usage plan identifying threshold limits associated with the different network connections. The computing device compares the priority information with available network connections. One or more of the data transfer requests are selected for initiation based on the comparison and on the threshold limits.
