System and method for modifying or disabling the ringtone for an incoming call based on the existence or nonexistence of previous calls from the same caller
The present invention provides a system for managing and disabling phone ring tone profiles, the system comprising: a storage system comprising (a) a plurality of ringtones adapted to be activated when an incoming call is made; (b) at least one list of identified callers to execute at least one data processing system, said at least one data processing system comprising: an acquiring module operable to read an identifier of said incoming call or an incoming message; a detecting module operable to detect if the identifier exists in said at least one list in the system, to determine the caller from said list, and to detect how many incoming calls have been made within a predetermined period of time and a disabling module adapted to either activate or disable said ringtones.
Automatic execution method and device for operation of mobile terminal, and mobile terminal
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and device for automatically executing an operation of a mobile terminal, and a mobile terminal. The method for automatically executing an operation of a mobile terminal includes: acquiring current moving/stationary situation information, an internal temperature and a current environment temperature of the mobile terminal, herein the current moving/stationary situation information of the mobile terminal includes information indicating that the mobile terminal is stationary at current or the mobile terminal is moving at current; determining a current state of the mobile terminal according to the current moving/stationary situation information, the internal temperature and the current environment temperature; and executing a preset operation according to the current state.
Systems and methods for locating a mobile communication device
Systems and methods for communications systems and more particularly to systems and methods for locating a mobile communication device are disclosed. When attempting to locate a misplaced, lost or stolen mobile communication device, if the mobile communication device may be in the possession of another party, the mobile communication device may be remotely controlled such that remote operations are independent of the normal mobile communication device operations.
Cell Phone having Enhanced Silent Notification Mode
A wireless communications device includes a memory adapted to maintain profiles relating to user contacts, an output device operable to emit audible notifications responsive to incoming communications, at least one input device operable to receive a user selection of a silent notification mode of the device and a user selection of a silent mode disabled setting associated with the profiles and a processor coupled to the memory, the output device and the at least one input device. When the device is in the silent notification mode, audible notifications are not emitted from the output device responsive to incoming communications from the user contacts having profiles without the silent mode disabled and audible notifications are emitted from the output device responsive to incoming communications from the user contacts having profiles with the silent mode disabled.
Emergency notifications during scheduled silent modes on mobile phones
A mobile phone configured to operate in a normal notification mode and an emergency notification mode. The mobile phone includes a memory adapted to maintain profiles relating to user contacts, an output device operable to emit audible notifications responsive to incoming communications, at least one input device operable to receive a user selection of a silent notification mode of the device and a user selection of a silent mode disabled setting associated with the profiles and a processor coupled to the memory, the output device and the at least one input device. When the device is in the silent notification mode, audible notifications are not emitted from the output device responsive to incoming communications from the user contacts having profiles without the silent mode disabled and audible notifications are emitted from the output device responsive to incoming communications from the user contacts having profiles with the silent mode disabled.
Methods and apparatus for enhancing ringback tone quality during telephone communications
A system for enhancing tonal quality for ringback signals in a telecommunications network by adjusting audio processing during an alerting interval of a telecommunications session (e.g. during a telephone call). The system may be embodied in a telecommunications switching device and include a ringback manager process that provides the ability to adjust audio processing (e.g., by signaling to in-path equipment) which enhances the tonal quality of the ringback signal. As an example, a telephone system (e.g. equipment associated with establishment and operation of telephone communications sessions) can disable or attenuate operation of voice quality enhancement processing such as echo cancellation, noise reduction, adaptive level control, and the like, during the ringback or alerting interval or period of a telephone call so that the ringback tone provided to the calling party is not distorted by such processing.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication apparatus for performing automatic reception processing of a calling signal received on a telephone line, by power supplied from a first power supply, includes an image processing unit, a detection unit, a counting unit, and a power supply control unit. The image processing unit performs image processing on image data received over the telephone line, by power supplied from a second power supply. The detection unit detects a calling signal received on the telephone line, by power supplied from the first power supply, while power supplied from the second power supply is stopped. The counting unit counts the number of calling signals detected by the detection unit. The power supply control unit starts supply of power from the second power supply on the basis that the number of detected calling signals counted by the counting unit reaches a predetermined number.
Wireless communications device having enhanced silent notification mode
A cell phone having a normal notification mode and an enhanced silent notification mode. The phone includes a memory, a speaker, a touch screen and a processor. The memory stores contact information for a plurality of contacts including general contacts and emergency contacts. The contact information includes an emergency notification setting for incoming calls and an emergency notification setting for incoming text messages that are selectable by a user via the touch screen on a contact by contact basis. In the normal notification mode, incoming calls and incoming text messages from both the general contacts and the emergency contacts cause the speaker to generate sounds. In the enhanced silent notification mode, incoming calls and incoming text messages from the general contacts do not cause the speaker to generate sounds, but at least one of incoming calls and incoming text messages from the emergency contacts causes the speaker to generate sounds.
