Methods and systems for management of video and ring tones among mobile devices
Provided herein are methods and systems for a sender-controlled contact media content type that can be sent among mobile devices, including addressing the contacts systems and methods of such devices to provide rich interactions among users upon the occurrence of contact events.
Parallel multimedia conferencing
A method, server, and media are provided for providing parallel multimedia conferences. A multimedia conference server enables a user to participate in several multimedia conferences simultaneously. The server receives a request to establish parallel multimedia conferences from a user. In turn, the server generates a data stream for the content of the each of the multimedia conferences associated with the user. The data stream may include transcriptions and notifications for the user. The multimedia conference server transmits the data stream and notifications to the user.
ADJUSTABLE INTERACTIVE VOICE RESPONSE SYSTEM
Provided herein are methodologies, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer-readable media for providing an adjustable interactive voice response (IVR) system. User identification information is received in order to determine which portions of an IVR system the user can access. The user can then search the IVR system based on a search term corresponding to a verbal phrase recognizable in the IVR system. The user can enter the search term via a GUI displayed on an electronic device. A listing of audio files or options files corresponding to the verbal phrase is then transmitted to the electronic display device. A new verbal phrase to be recognized in the IVR system is then received from the user, and a system flow including at least one of the audio files or options files is modified to correspond to the new verbal phrase.

CALLER-SPECIFIED MEDIA IN COMPUTER TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS
In an embodiment, a data processing method providing an improvement in calls via mobile wireless telecommunications comprises receiving at a server computer, from a calling device comprising a first mobile computing device, mobile call data comprising a media file and an identifier associated with a called device comprising a second mobile computing device; storing the media file at the server computer; transmitting the media file from the server computer to the second mobile computing device using the identifier; using the identifier, initiating a mobile wireless call between the first mobile computing device and the second mobile computing device; and causing displaying the media file on the second mobile computing device in conjunction with indicia indicating that the mobile wireless call is incoming.
Redirecting Communications Using Speech-To-Text Analysis
Speech-to-text analysis is performed on a greeting portion of a communication directed to a recipient to identify a name. The identified name is determined not to correspond to the recipient. A forwardee is identified based on determining that the identified name does not correspond to the recipient. The communication is forwarded to a message box of the forwardee.
MEDIA CHANNEL MANAGEMENT APPARATUS FOR NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS SESSIONS
A system includes: a computerized appliance having a processor; and software executing on the computerized appliance from a non-transitory physical medium, the software providing: establishment of a communication session over a network between two or more end communications appliances; detection and recording of at least media channel capabilities on individual end communications appliances connected in the session; service of media channel toggle options to end communications appliances; detection of media channel toggle option selections made by users operating the end communications appliances; and implementation of the media channel toggle option or options selected for individual communications sessions.
Medical alert and monitoring for the hearing impaired
An illustrative method includes receiving, by a processor of a computing device, a request to initiate a call from a portable electronic device. The call is a communication across a communication network. The method also includes initiating, by the processor of the computing device, the call. The call connects the portable electronic device to an emergency response service. The call also utilizes a relay service.
