Embodiment of systems and methods for the sending, delivery or receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at users' sites, and a fax registration system that may be deployed remotely from these users' site. The fax connector can be accessed at a user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at a sending user's site communicates with the fax registration system to obtain destination data associated with a recipient user's fax connector and transmits the fax to the destination fax connector over the computer based network based on the destination data obtained from the registration system. The fax can then be presented to the recipient at the recipient user's site.

The controller controls a state in a real space based on information included in the received image. In a further modification of the invention, the controller may move a position of the information processing apparatus according to an arrangement of the information processing apparatus in the image.

An image forming apparatus includes at least one memory that stores instructions, and at least one processor to execute the instructions to set a limit of a number of print pages, and receive a print job from an external apparatus. In a case where the received print job is a reserved print job for which a print setting has been made to wait for printing until a print start time specified by a user, a first counter indicating a reserved number of print pages based on the received reserved print job before starting execution of the received reserved print job is updated, and a second counter relating to an upper limit of a number of print pages in accordance with execution of printing based on the received print job is updated. In a case where a new print job is received in a state where a sum of the first counter and the second counter has reached the set limit of the number of print pages, a user is notified of a predetermined error.

A MFP including a wireless network interface can set whether wireless communication based on Wi-Fi Direct or wireless communication not based on Wi-Fi Direct is used as direct wireless communication via the wireless network interface. The MFP provides, in a method different from the wireless communication using the wireless interface, an external device with connection information for establishing network communication between the external device and the MFP.
