INSPECTION APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present invention provides an inspection apparatus including a reading unit configured to read a document. The inspection apparatus compares a read image obtained by the reading unit reading a chart including a mark for acquiring distortion information printed by a printing apparatus and a reference image serving as a correct image of the chart, and generates distortion information when reading by the reading unit; and corrects, using the generated distortion information, an inspection target image obtained by the reading unit reading a printed matter from the printing apparatus; aligns the first corrected image corrected in the correcting with a reference image of the printed matter; and compares a second corrected image aligned in the aligning with a reference image of the printed matter to inspect a defect of the printed matter.
INSPECTION APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present invention is related to an inspection apparatus reads a printed material; sets a setting relating to check inspection data for checking data formed on a printed material; derives data defined by a predetermined rule according to setting content set in the setting and generating check inspection data for a plurality of sections in a printed material; and detects a defect in an inspection target printed material by comparing data read in the reading from the inspection target printed material and the corresponding check inspection data generated in the generating.
IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing system capable of preventing resubmission of a scanned image from being required due to an undesired object which obstructs visibility. The image processing system includes a scanned image generation unit configured to read an original and generate a scanned image of the read original, and submits an image to a management server. A continuous pixel area which includes a plurality of pixels whose pixel values are higher than a predetermined density threshold value and has an area size equal to or larger than a predetermined value is identified from a scanned image. Whether or not the identified continuous pixel area is an area of an undesired object which obstructs visibility is determined. A continuous pixel area determined as the area of an undesired object is notified to a user before the scanned image is submitted to the management server.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
An information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry detects an abnormality in an image reading apparatus from a first spectral reflectance and a second spectral reflectance, the first spectral reflectance being generated based on data read from a reference white plate installed in the image reading apparatus, the second spectral reflectance being generated before generation of the first spectral reflectance, and identifies a cause of an abnormality in the image reading apparatus in a case where the processing circuitry detects the abnormality.
IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD OF IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
An image forming device includes: a scanner mechanism; an inkjet-type print mechanism; a display mechanism; and a control unit configured to control the scanner mechanism, the print mechanism, and the display mechanism. The control unit includes a pattern storage unit configured to store a temperature, a humidity, and an adjustment pattern group including a plurality of adjustment patterns, in association with each other, an acquisition unit configured to acquire a measured temperature and a measured humidity from a temperature and humidity sensor, and a data generation unit configured to read an adjustment pattern group corresponding to the measured temperature and the measured humidity acquired by the acquisition unit from the pattern storage unit, and generate print data including the read adjustment pattern group and first group identification information which is information for identifying the adjustment pattern group.
Print control system, print control method, print control device, and media
A print control system is provided. The system comprises an image forming unit to form an image onto a sheet; an image reader to read an image of the sheet; an inspection unit to inspect a quality by comparing the image read by the image reader with a reference image. The system forms an image by the image forming unit using a first print setting defined in advance when registering the reference image, registers, as the reference image, an image read by the reading unit, and forms an image by the image forming unit using a second print setting defined in advance when manufacturing a print product.
INSPECTION DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM FOR INSPECTION DEVICE
An image inspection device includes a hardware processor executing an inspection for a first read image generated by reading a first sheet on which one image is formed, based on a reference image. When an operation for newly generating the reference image is performed in association with the inspection for the first read image, the hardware processor acquires second read images generated by respectively reading second sheets on each of which the one image is formed and generates the reference image using the inspection for the first read image. When an operation for using the generated reference image stored in a storage unit is performed in association with the inspection for the first read image, the hardware processor uses the reference image in the storage unit for the inspection for the first read image, without newly acquiring the second read images.
Chart, image forming apparatus, image processing apparatus, and storage medium
A chart includes a plurality of area images. Each area image of the plurality of area images includes a figure. The figure indicates positional information of each area image of the plurality of area images in the chart. An image forming apparatus includes an image forming device configured to form an image on a sheet to create the chart, and an image reading device configured to read the image in the chart.
Image reading device, image forming apparatus, and image reading method
An image reading device includes a reading unit, a background member, and processing circuitry. The reading unit includes alight source to emit light to a passage area through which an object passes and an imaging device to capture reflected light of the light emitted to generate a visible image and an invisible image. The background member is disposed opposite the light source across the passage area. The processing circuitry is configured to: detect a change in an image characteristic due to a change in an optical characteristic of the reading unit, in invisible images obtained by capturing of invisible marks on the background member; determine a correction amount of an image characteristic to be used for correcting an image of the object generated by the imaging device, based on the change in the image characteristic detected; and correct the image characteristic based on the correction amount determined.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An object is to save a user's trouble in a case of printing correction charts and stabilization charts and performing automatic tone correction with the correction charts among the printed charts. An image processing apparatus performs: control for printing correction chart images along with identification images for respectively identifying the correction chart images on print media in a one-to-one correspondence; and control for printing a stabilization chart image on a print medium before the control for printing the correction chart images. Then, from among scan images obtained by reading correction charts and one or more stabilization charts, the apparatus identifies the scan images respectively corresponding to the correction charts based on the identification images appearing in the scan images, the correction charts each being obtained by printing a correction chart image along with the corresponding identification image, the stabilization charts each being obtained by printing the stabilization chart image.
