An image processing apparatus is provided that includes a controller configured to control a communication device to transmit, to an information processing terminal device, image processing information indicating a specific one of image processing operations that has been selected at a time when the controller starts establishment of communication with the information processing terminal device, control the communication device to receive execution instructing information from the information processing terminal device, and control a specific one of image processing executing devices that corresponds to the received execution instructing information to execute the specific image processing operation in accordance with the received execution instructing information.

A wetness notification system includes a sampling unit (5) for contacting and sampling liquid within a space surrounded by a clothing article (10), a moisture detector (3) mounted in the clothing article (10) and outputting a notification signal, a processor module (6) for transceiving the notification signal, a camera device (9) and a user device (4) . The camera device (9) includes a camera (90) facing the sampling unit (5) for capturing an image thereof, and a camera transceiver (902) for transceiving the image. The user device (4) includes a display (47) , a device transceiver (41) communicating wirelessly with the processor module (6) and the camera transceiver (902) for receiving the notification signal and the image respectively therefrom, and a device processor (42) electrically connected to the device transceiver (41), and timing a time duration upon receiving the notification signal to output a control signal after the time duration has elapsed to enable the the camera (90) to capture the image, and controlling the display (47) to display the image.

Methods and apparatus are described for receiving a fax transmission at a mobile phone. In one embodiment, the mobile phone receives an incoming call and answers the incoming call, upon receiving a command from a user of the mobile phone to answer the incoming call. A program on the mobile phone then detects that the incoming call is a fax transmission, and then places an outgoing call to a fax server. The program on the mobile phone then conferences the incoming call with the outgoing call to the fax server, such that the fax server receives the fax transmission. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

A display system has a (1) camera that includes a lens and outputs an image data; (2) a first display that includes a first display screen on which (i) a first image, based on the image data output by the camera, containing a part of a person is displayed and (ii) information indicating a position where the camera has output the image data is displayed; and (3) a second display that includes (i) a receiver which receives the image data transmitted from the camera and (ii) a second display screen that displays a second image based on the image data. The second display can be carried by the person while receiving the image data.

A portable device and a manipulation method thereof are disclosed in this disclosure. The portable device includes a camera unit, a communication unit, a first switch button and a control module. The communication unit is configured for establishing a connection to a cloud server through a cellular telephony network. The first switch button is disposed on the portable device and configured for sensing a first manipulation input. The control module is coupled with the camera unit and the first switch button. In response to the first manipulation input sensed by the first switch button, the control module being adapted to trigger the camera unit for capturing an image, a streaming video or a video selectively according to a holding duration of the first manipulation input, and to trigger the communication unit for uploading the image, the streaming video or the video onto the cloud server.

A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and apparatus for transmitting an assessment of facial skin health of a customer are disclosed. For example, the method includes receiving an image of a customer from a mobile endpoint device of the customer, analyzing one or more parameters of a facial skin of the customer in the image of the customer, determining the assessment of facial skin health of the customer based on the one or more parameters of the facial skin that are analyzed and transmitting the assessment of facial skin health to the mobile endpoint device of the customer to cause the mobile endpoint device to automatically display the assessment of facial skin health.

In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to an external device. The external device receives a selection of image data through plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data sent with the address by the external device, and prints an image based on the selected image data. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed by a first communication system method or a second communication system method. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.

A printing device includes a printing device side wireless communication unit configured to execute wireless communication with a mobile terminal, an operation acquisition unit configured to acquire user operation thereof, and a processor. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.
