PRINTING SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
In the image forming apparatus, accepting a printing instruction from the mobile terminal, inquiring whether the management server manages a printing reservation corresponding to a printing instruction when the printing instruction is accepted, transmitting connection information to the mobile terminal when the printing reservation corresponding to the printing instruction is managed as a result of an inquiry, setting communication with the mobile terminal as a connected state when a connection request from the mobile terminal using the connection information, obtaining printing data corresponding to the printing instruction from the mobile terminal set in the connected state, and executing printing processing using the printing data. Communication with the mobile terminal is set to an unconnected state after execution of the printing processing is complete.
EVENT RFID TIMING SYSTEM AND METHOD HAVING INTEGRATED PARTICIPANT EVENT LOCATION TRACKING
A system and method for determining and tracking a location of a participant traveling along a route wherein the participant being tracked with an RFID tag using an RFID tag reader and a timing system, the system includes a location device associated with the RFID tag and has a location data receiver for receiving location information from a location providing source, and a wireless communication interface and time stamps each received location information, and transmits tag location data over the wireless interface, and a location detection device that is in wireless communication with the location device receives the transmitted tag location data, and transmits the received location data to the timing system, with the timing system associating the received location data with the RFID tag number as provided by the RFID tag reader provided tag reads of the RFID tag associated with the location device.
Image grid with selectively prominent images
Implementations relate to an image grid with selectively prominent images. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes identifying a plurality of images, where each image of the plurality of images has a respective importance score. A subset of the images is selected based at least in part on the respective importance score for each image. The method determines respective one or more cells in a grid for occupation by each of the images, where at least one image of the subset is placed in the grid such that it occupies at least two cells in the grid. The method causes the images to be displayed in a user interface on a display screen based on the grid.
Photo subscription system and method using biometric identification
A computer system and method for photo subscription using biometric identification is provided. A plurality of photographs inputted by at least one photo provider system is accessed. Biometric data is accessed from a plurality of accounts associated with a pool of respective subscribers, each account having at least one associated biometric signature. A request is received to transmit photographs associated with biometric data to a selected destination, the biometric data associated with a particular subscriber. A plurality of photographs is filtered based on the biometric data. The plurality of photos is then outputted to the selected destination.
Method of displaying two adjacent photos on a split screen digital picture frame
A method and apparatus for displaying digital photos on a digital display with a network connection module. The method includes identifying two different photos in a digital photo collection that include a matching photo content, and displaying the two different photos simultaneously in a split screen on the digital display. The two different photos can be matched from related photo clusters. An integrated camera can be used to automatically determine an identity of a frame viewer to determine photos to display, and can capture gesture-based feedback. The photos can be filtered and cropped at the receiver side.
TIMING SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH INTEGRATED PARTICIPANT EVENT IMAGE CAPTURE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
An automated system and method for managing a participant's participation in an event having a participant event management system (PEMS), a participant proximity detector, an image capture system and a timing system. The participant event management system (PEMS) receives a request for capturing an image of the participant during the event. The participant proximity detector detects the proximity of the participant to a detection point and receives the participant number. The image capture system receives an instruction for capturing an image of the participant, receives an indication that the participant has been detected, and captures an image of the participant. The timing system receives the preorder request from the PEMS, determines a time of passing of the detection point of the participant, associates the participant event number with the participant identifier number, generates the instruction for capturing the image of the participant, and receives the transmitted captured image.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A control method for an image processing apparatus that generates a layout image by arranging an image in a template includes making an evaluation of a first image data group acquired from acquired moving image data based on a first evaluation axis and making an evaluation of a second image data group acquired from acquired still image data based on a second evaluation axis different from the first evaluation axis.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing apparatus comprises: an obtaining unit configured to obtain a plurality of images; a setting unit configured to set a first priority mode for a first page and set a second priority mode for a second page; and a selection unit configured to select an image including an object corresponding to the first priority mode for the first page from the plurality of images and select an image including an object corresponding to the second priority mode for the second page from the plurality of images, in accordance with a priority mode set by the setting unit.
IMAGE GRID WITH SELECTIVELY PROMINENT IMAGES
Implementations relate to update and display of panoramic image montages.
