An image forming device according to aspects of the present disclosure, including a memory, a communication interface, a user interface, and a controller. The controller configured to perform of obtaining identification information identifying a user, determining a display mode based on the identification information. The display mode is determined to be a first mode when the obtained identification information identifies a first user, the display mode being determined to be a second mode when the identification information identifies a second user. The controller transmits remote data to an information processing device. The remote data causes the information processing device to display a remote screen reproducing an operation screen when the display mode is the first mode, while causes the information processing device to display a remote screen reproducing a restricted screen when the display mode is the second mode.

One or more processors generate the unique barcode based on the received identification information of the user; create an application programming interface (API) link for the generated barcode; transmit the electronic communication with the API link attached therein to the second computing device; and automatically obtain the unique barcode upon receiving an input to open the API link from the second computing device, the unique barcode to be attached as a cover sheet with the requested documentation for scanning by a multi-functional device.

A terminal management system includes a main management device, a sub-management device, a first type terminal device that is communicably connected to the sub-management device, a second type terminal device that is not communicably connected to the main management device and the sub-management device, and a storage device that is configured to communicate with the main management device, the sub-management device, and the second type terminal device. According to one embodiment, an image processing device includes storage means, encryption means, and output means. The storage means stores an encryption key in correlation with a built-in application during installation of the built-in application. The encryption means encrypts a debug log relating to the built-in application with the encryption key in correlation with the corresponding built-in application. The output means outputs the debug log encrypted by the encryption means.

The second communication apparatus reads the QR code-printed sheet to acquire the second network information, requests the first communication apparatus to establish direct wireless communication based on the second network information, acquires the first network information from the first communication apparatus using the direct wireless communication, and connects to a router based on the first network information to start wireless LAN communication.

A management apparatus includes circuitry that stores, in a memory, facsimile data received by an electronic device in association with information on a group to which the received facsimile data belongs, and transmits a list of the received facsimile data based on a browse request of the received facsimile data. A image forming apparatus includes a display, a user input device, a printer unit, and a processor. The processor causes a color patch image output screen to be displayed. The color patch image output screen includes user selectable hues. Once the hue selection is received a color patch image based on the hue selection is displayed. The color patch image includes several different colors indexed by a color number value. A color patch number input screen is then displayed and includes a color to be adjusted input field and a target color input field. User inputs for a first color patch number and a second color patch number are received via the displayed screen. The processor then performs a color conversion such that the first color patch number corresponds to the second color patch number when the printer unit prints an image using the image data.

An inkjet printer includes a control unit that counts the number of retries of communication between the control unit and a storage device and communication between the inkjet printer and a host computer and records the same in the storage unit. The control unit can also derive an installation environment level of the installation environment of the inkjet printer based on at least one number of retries recorded in the storage unit, and output the derived installation environment level to a display unit.
