There is provided an antitheft apparatus. An approach detector is disposed on an apparatus where consumables are mounted, and detects a person who approaches the corresponding apparatus. An image acquisition unit acquires a captured image of the person when the person's approaching is detected by the approach detector. A detector detects that the consumables are stolen from the apparatus. A recording unit, when the stealing is detected by the detector, matches an image which is captured by a capturing apparatus at a most recent time before the detecting, with information of the detection, and records the image and the information.

The controller is configured to switch from stop supplying a system clock to supplying the system clock based on the detected predetermined relative position. The system clock is used to control a timing to start capturing an image by the imager. After stops supplying the system clock, the controller resumes supplying the system clock to the imager according to a relative movement of the object, based on the detected predetermined relative position.

Synchronization of simultaneously captured media in a multi-camera system is performed using a consistent file structure within the cameras. A primary camera receives a bitmap describing the file and folder utilization of each of one or more secondary cameras. The primary camera selects a folder number and file position number that is commonly available across all cameras. The primary camera directs the secondary cameras to store subsequently simultaneously captured media content at the selected file number and folder position number. During post-processing, simultaneously-captured content is accessed based on common folder numbers and file position numbers. A post-processing system compares a timestamp associated with each content file in a group with matching folder numbers and file position numbers to identify false positive groupings.

A further aspect includes providing suggested focal aspects of a scene subject to media capture. The suggested focal aspects are derived from the contact preferences.

Some embodiments of the current invention relate to a methods and/or systems of automated capture, processing and/or dissemination of images. Optionally, a quick access (e.g. single gesture selection) is provided on a device user interface to capture, process and/or disseminate an image according to one of a plurality of protocols. As a picture is captured it is optionally processed and/or disseminated. Optionally this reduces the need for later intervention to classify, process and/or disseminate images. Optionally, the capture protocol may include maintenance actions, for example preserving a desired status of a collection of photos automatically when a captured photo is added to the collection and/or removing images under some conditions. In some embodiments, the device also includes an interface for defining configurations and/or disseminating defined configurations of image capturing and/or image sharing protocols.
