Image forming system with external apparatus, image forming apparatus and projector
Provided is an image forming system that simply and securely protects printed matter that is not so important, but that the user does not wish others to view. An external apparatus receives a simple-security setting for image data for which there is a printing instruction, includes the simple-security setting in the printing instruction, and transmits the printing instruction to an image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus, when a simple-security setting is included, adds a mark image to the image data for which there is a printing instruction, and prints the image data. A projector, by an imaging unit, captures an image of the discharge tray, and when a mark image is detected, generates a projection image on which a security image is arranged, and projects the projection image toward the discharge tray.

VISIBLE IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus 1 includes a visible image forming unit 50 that forms a visible image in the air, a screen image generation unit 102 that generates a screen image, and a controller 100 that causes the visible image forming unit 50 to generate the visible image representing the screen image generated by the screen image generation unit 102. When the visible image contains predetermined private information, the controller 100 causes the screen image generation unit 102 to generate a second screen image representing the private information and inclined by a predetermined angle with respect to a main screen of the screen image, so as to restrict a person other than an operator from viewing the private information, and causes the visible image forming unit 50 to form a visible image of the second screen image generated.

System for generating an anamorphic image from a non-anamorphic image
A system for displaying an anamorphic image on a viewing surface comprises a screen having a viewing surface and an image source configured to display the anamorphic image on the viewing surface such that an image viewed on the viewing surface appears undistorted from a viewing point. In addition, the system may also include a reflective lens having a convex exterior surface and a refractive lens having a plurality of surfaces to redirect light toward an image capture device. Further, the system may include an image conversion module for converting a non-anamorphic image into the anamorphic image suitable for displaying on the viewing surface and a selected portion of the anamorphic image into at least one non-anamorphic image.
Automatic Output Metadata Determination Based On Output Device and Substrate
Various different output devices (e.g., printers, display devices) can be used to output content on various different substrates (e.g., paper, projector screens, painted walls or wallpaper). A data store stores output metadata for various output device and substrate combinations. The output metadata for an output device and substrate combination describes various different aspects of how that output device is to output color on that substrate. A computing device coupled to an output device obtains an identifier of the output device and an identifier of the substrate. The computing device communicates uses these identifiers to retrieve from the data store (e.g., directly or via a service) the output metadata for the output device and the substrate. The computing device uses the output metadata to generate output parameters for use when outputting content to the substrate.
METHOD FOR A 3-D PROJECTION PRINTING SYSTEM AND SYSTEM THEREOF
The embodiment of the present invention provides a method for a 3-D projection printing system and a system thereof, more particularly to a system adopts both ways of look-up table and interpolation method to calibrate. The embodiment of the present invention provides a portable calibration fixture system and a flexible 3-D projection printing system in order to improve calibration precision, facilitate calibration and printing operations, increase printing effect and save cost.

Image Plate Readout Device
The invention relates to an image plate readout device, the readout device comprising receiver elements for the reception of an image plate and/or a transfer element intended for an image plate. In connection with the readout device is provided, for detecting an object, at least one sensing element, which is in turn set in data communication with the readout device in such a way that, upon detecting an object, the sensing element delivers a signal to the readout device. In response to being triggered by a signal delivered by the sensing element, the readout device executes some function.
MEASUREMENT APPARATUS THAT SCANS ORIGINAL, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A measurement apparatus that is capable of positively generating a projection pattern suitable for a to-be-read object. A camera scanner as the measurement apparatus projects a projection pattern formed by a plurality of projection lines on a to-be-read object to thereby measure the bending of the to-be-read object. A distance to the to-be-read object is measured, and distance distribution information of the to-be-read object for identifying a shape, a size, and a position of the to-be-read object is generated based on the measured distance. The projection pattern is generated based on the generated distance distribution information of the to-be-read object.
