The invention comprises an application activating unit which issues an application binding command in response to a print instruction of a data generated by an application executed by a mobile, an additional information acquiring unit which acquires an additional information according to a predetermined information acquiring command included in the application binding command when a print result information is acquired from the printer, and an information providing unit which provides the mobile with the additional information in addition to the print result information. A user is notified of necessary information on printer maintenance or an updating of software in addition to the print result information upon completion of printing intentionally instructed by the user.

A relay server associates an account of an MFP (image processing apparatus) and an account of an operator PC (information processing apparatus) in a case where remote support for the MFP by the operator PC is started by using a support room assigned to the MFP. In a case where an extension of the remote support is requested from the operator PC after a reconnection by the MFP is performed, the relay server identifies a support room newly assigned, due to the reconnection, to the MFP 101 that is the target of the remote support, based on the account of the MFP associated with the account of the operator PC. The relay server transmits to the operator PC a support room ID corresponding to the identified support room.

An apparatus and method for saving power in an office machine having a display panel are provided. The method comprises setting the apparatus in an operation standby mode, detecting whether an error exists in the apparatus and turning on the display panel to display the error thereon when the error is detected. Furthermore, the apparatus keeps the display panel in an off state when the error is not detected. Thus, the exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a power saving method of an office machine which prevents unnecessary power consumption during an operation of an office machine having a display panel.

An image forming apparatus includes: a memory that stores a setting for a first process in association with an identifier; a receiver that receives the identifier, image data, and a request for a second process from a host apparatus capable of requesting the second process but incapable of requesting the first process; and a processor that performs the first process on a basis of the image data according to the setting stored in association with the identifier.

An information processing apparatus communicates with a fax apparatus and provides a chat service. A printing method of an image forming apparatus is provided. The printing method includes receiving, from one of an external apparatus and a server connected to the external apparatus, job information and first identification (ID) information related to printing of content, receiving, from a user, second ID information, transmitting accounting information based on the job information to a billing system, when the second ID information received from the user and the first ID information received from one of the external apparatus and the server correspond to each other, and printing the content based on the job information, when payment completion information regarding payment by the user is received from the billing system.

An image forming apparatus plays a movie representing operation procedures to be performed to make maintenance on the image forming apparatus. In a case where start of a job is detected and an operation by a user is detected, the image forming apparatus plays the movie of which frame rate is lowered.
