A control method for an information processing apparatus which comprises a memory that stores a graphical user interface (GUI) application capable of providing a GUI in a case where a driver that does not have a function of providing a GUI is selected, the control method includes causing the GUI application to acquire drawing data generated by a drawing application, acquiring, by the GUI application, at least either of data including information indicating a setting and data including information indicating a capability of the driver, and providing, the GUI application, a first display item.

An image processing apparatus that holds a plurality of services for utilizing a function of the image processing apparatus comprises: a display unit that displays an operation screen for a user's operation-input on a display unit in order to activate a predetermined service from among the services; a first activation unit that reads out a print setting in which history information during use of the predetermined service by the user is stored and displays the print setting on the display unit in a case where a first region of the operation screen has been selected; and a second activation unit that reads out a print setting stored in advance in association with a specific document attribute and display the print setting on the display unit, in a case where a second region of the operation screen has been selected.

A controller of a printing apparatus performs first image reading including conveying a necessary number of original documents for printing on one sheet, reading an image on the conveyed original documents and terminating conveyance of the original documents. An image forming apparatus includes a network interface, an operation panel including a touch panel, and a controller configured to provide a mobile input function to a mobile terminal via the network interface. The mobile input function enables the image forming apparatus to accept input operations from the mobile terminal via the network interface. The controller displays access information on the touch panel when the mobile input function is not provided, and starts providing the mobile input function in response to receiving access from the mobile terminal using the access information via the network interface. After starting to provide the mobile input function, the controller sends display data to the mobile terminal via the network interface, thereby causing the mobile terminal to display an operation screen for operating the image forming apparatus from the mobile terminal.

An image forming apparatus includes a network interface, an operation panel including a touch panel, and a controller. The controller is configured to provide a mobile input function to a mobile terminal via the network interface. In response to accepting a first operation to the operation panel with a local operation screen not displayed on the touch panel, the controller causes the touch panel to display the local operation screen, and thereafter switches the local operation screen on the touch panel to a standby screen after waiting until a continuous time with no operation to the touch panel exceeds a first threshold time. In response to accepting a second operation to the operation panel with the local operation screen not displayed on the touch panel, the controller causes the touch panel to display the standby screen without waiting for the first threshold time to elapse.

An image processing apparatus includes a storage unit that stores a first and a second setting item group in association with a first and a second use environment, respectively, included in a plurality of use environments, a reception unit that receives a selection regarding the plurality of use environments from a user, a setting unit that sets the image processing apparatus using a plurality of setting values corresponding to a use environment identified by the selection, and an output unit that outputs the first setting item group in a case where the use environment is the first use environment, and outputs the second setting item group in a case where the use environment is the second use environment, wherein a plurality of setting items corresponding to the plurality of setting values used by the setting unit is not included in the first and second setting item groups.
