An inspection system includes: an inspection part that compares a scanned image obtained by scanning a sheet on which an image is formed on the basis of a job with a reference image prepared in advance and thereby performs inspection of the scanned image; and a hardware processor that sets an inspection target page to be a target of inspection and a non-inspection target page to be excluded from inspection, for the job, wherein the hardware processor causes the inspection part to perform inspection for the inspection target page and not to perform inspection for the non-inspection target page on the basis of the setting of the hardware processor, and the hardware processor creates an inspection report including scanned images of all pages of the job including the non-inspection target page.

A configuration is provided in which in a case where a user operation is performed on an image forming apparatus or a data processing apparatus while the image forming apparatus and the data processing apparatus are operating in cooperation with each other, the automatic clearing timers of both the apparatuses are reset.

A system and method for managing print services between multifunction peripherals and a print server includes a connector server. The connector server subscribes to event notifications from each multifunction peripheral through two or more network adapters. Events are relayed from the connector server to the print server, irrespective as to which network adapter receives them. The connector server also relays web content between the multifunction peripheral and the print server.

The present invention provides an in-line printing system including a printing apparatus and an inspection apparatus for inspecting a product outputted by the printing apparatus. In addition, the printing apparatus sequentially assigns page information to each page of the product outputted by the printing module, assigns additional information indicating an additional page inserted by the printing module, and sequentially notifies the inspection apparatus of the page information and the additional information. The inspection apparatus receives the notified page information and additional information, compares the page information and the additional information, and performs inspection by comparing a printed material according to the inspection job excluding the additional page from the product based on a comparison result and pre-registered correct images corresponding to respective pages of the printed material.

The controller is configured to determine whether the startup related program is falsified, obtain life information of the semiconductor storage device, and determine whether the life information satisfies a condition. In a case where the controller determines that the startup related program is falsified and the life information satisfies the condition, the notification unit provides notification of at least information about a remaining life of the semiconductor storage device.

An information processing device including multiple operation units operable for a user, comprises: a storage; and a hardware processor that: detects the user; detects the operation unit operated by a first user from among the multiple operation units when the first user is being detected; stores operation information in which operation unit is recorded in the storage; and reads the operation information in the storage and notifies a second user of the operation unit operated by the first user when the second user is detected.

In a further modification of the invention, the controller may switch the conversation partner who is responding, to the device, in addition to the switch of the display.

An image forming apparatus includes: a hardware processor that: executes processing corresponding to an instruction input via an external device; sends a first notification to the external device according to a completion of execution of the processing; and upon estimating that the execution of the processing is not completed before a timeout time, sends a second notification different from the first notification to the external device. The external device sets the timeout time for the first notification.
