A system in an embodiment includes an image forming apparatus, an erasing apparatus, a first apparatus, and a display unit. The image forming apparatus forms an image on a sheet using a decolorable color material. The erasing apparatus decolorizes an image. The first apparatus computes, from a reduction in the number of sheets achieved by a setting for image formation in the image forming apparatus, the amount of a reduction in environmental burdens achieved by use of the image forming apparatus and computes, from the number of sheets erased by the erasing apparatus, the amount of a reduction in environmental burdens achieved by use of the erasing apparatus. The display unit simultaneously displays the amount of the reduction in environmental burdens achieved by the image forming apparatus and the amount of the reduction in environmental burdens achieved by the erasing apparatus.

An image display device reproducing an image displayed according to operations performed consecutively is provided. The device includes an extraction portion extracting, from the operations, a plurality of times of first operations to scroll through the image, and a position at which an operation is made in a display surface of an object selected from the image through second operation performed after the plurality of times of first operations; and a reproduction portion that reproduces the image in accordance with the operations in such a manner that scrolling through the image is omitted or shortened in accordance with a target operation which is any one of a specific operation and a subsequent first operation among the plurality of times of first operations. An information processing system includes an acquisition unit that acquires internal information of an information processing apparatus, an acquisition unit that acquires, from a user, an execution request for a process to be executed, and a process executing unit that executes the process in accordance with the execution request. A printing system includes a printer unit configured to print an image on a recording sheet, an inserter configured to insert a sheet into a print product obtained by printing the image on the recording sheet, and one or more controllers having one or more processors and one or more memories. The one or more controllers are configured to generate scanned images by causing the printing system to read the print product and the inserted sheet, register a reference image, inspect the print product based on a scanned image generated by reading the print product and the reference image, set an insertion position of the sheet to be inserted, and perform control so that a scanned image corresponding to the set insertion position of the sheet is not to be inspected.

A printer monitoring system includes: a server configured to collect event information indicating an event that occurs in a printer; and a mobile device configured to execute a display application that causes a display to display a related screen including the event information. The server generates link information for directly transitioning a screen displayed by the display application to the related screen corresponding to the event information, and transmits the event information received from the printer and the link information to the mobile device. An image forming apparatus includes: a generation unit configured to generate image data based on a print job; a determination unit configured to determine whether image data corresponding to a sheet passing a predetermined location of a conveyance path through which sheets are conveyed is prepared in time; and a control unit configured to perform, in the case where the determination unit determines that image data is not prepared in time, control to leave the sheet as a blank sheet by skipping processing to form an image for the sheet, and the control unit changes a printing order determined in advance in the case where the determination unit determines that image data is not prepared in time.

An image processing apparatus including a display unit includes a processor and a memory storing instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the image processing apparatus to function as a detection unit that detects occurrence of a sheet jammed inside the image processing apparatus and a display control unit that displays a screen based on detection of the occurrence of the jammed sheet. The screen includes a first region for displaying work that a user carries out to remove jammed sheets from inside the image processing apparatus and a second region for displaying work that the user carries out after removing the jammed sheets from inside the image processing apparatus.

A printing apparatus of the present invention makes wireless LAN connection in at least either one of a first connection mode for making wireless LAN connection to an image processing apparatus in which inherent authentication information is stored and a second connection mode for making wireless LAN connection to the image processing apparatus via a second access point provided by an apparatus other than the printing device and the image processing apparatus. The printing apparatus controls, in a case of connection in the first connection mode, a first function provided by the printing apparatus to be enabled and a second function which is enabled in the second connection mode to be disabled.
