A system includes: an image forming apparatus; a voice processing device that collects voice of an utterance, and generates voice data of the collected voice; and a server, wherein the server includes: a hardware processor that controls the server; and a communication circuit that communicates with the image forming apparatus and the voice processing device, the hardware processor performs a recognition process on the voice data received from the voice processing device, to generate a command for operating the image forming apparatus, and in a case where the image forming apparatus has received the voice data from the voice processing device while executing a job, when the image forming apparatus is in a predetermined state of executing the job, or when the command generated from the voice data is a predetermined command, the hardware processor controls the communication circuit to transmit the generated command to the image forming apparatus.

A set of user interface templates corresponding to the action request by the user and the user context is retrieved. Components of different user interface templates within the set of user interface templates are compared. Relevant components of the different user interface templates are combined based on the action request by the user and the user context. The user interface template corresponding to the action request by the user and the user context is generated based on the combined relevant components of the different user interface templates.

An image forming apparatus including a display is provided. When events involving with the image forming apparatus are occurring and a predetermined event about which the user should be notified is occurring, notification windows including messages corresponding to the events are displayed on the display. At least one of the notification windows includes a first key, and all of the notification windows are hidden when the first key is operated.

In an image processing apparatus, a controller determines using setting specification information whether all of a plurality of users is permitted to use all of a plurality of setting values for a setting category in response to receiving a registration instruction. The setting specification information specifies for each user at least one setting value that is permitted to use for an image process by the user. In response to determining that any of the plurality of users is not permitted to use all of the setting values for the setting category, the controller transmits to the server a registration request not including the plurality of setting values for the setting category. The controller controls, in response to receiving a function execution instruction from the server, an image processing unit to execute the image process in accordance with a setting including a setting value for the setting category.
