Multifunction peripheral capable of executing double-sided reading process, method of controlling same, and storage medium
A multifunction peripheral capable of preventing discontinuation of a simultaneous double-sided reading process, caused by congestion of an image bus. An image transfer clock is controlled for transferring image data of a document sheet from a reading unit for reading both sides of the document sheet, to an image processing unit for performing image processing on data acquired via an image bus. When transfer of image data of one side of the document sheet is singly executed, a frequency of the image transfer clock is set to a predetermined frequency, and when transfer of image data of the other side of the document sheet, which is executed in succession to the transfer of image data of the one side, is to be executed in parallel with the image processing, the frequency is switched from the predetermined frequency to a lower frequency than the same.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body including an image forming portion configured to form an image on a sheet, a rotating unit disposed above the apparatus body and rotatably supported around a first rotary shaft with respect to the apparatus body, and a cover portion rotatably supported around a second rotary shaft extending in parallel to the first rotary shaft with respect to the apparatus body. The rotating unit and the cover portion are opened from a front side of the image forming apparatus to a rear side of the image forming apparatus. The second rotary shaft is disposed on the rear side of the first rotary shaft.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A transfer unit includes a reading unit to read an image on a sheet conveyed along a conveyance path, a first signal transmission member having a flat shape and is connected to the reading unit, and a relay member connected to the first signal transmission member. The relay member relays a signal from the first signal transmission member, and a second signal transmission member having a round shape and is connected to the relay member. The second signal transmission member leads into an apparatus body from an inner portion of the transfer unit in an axial direction of a first rotation shaft.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS HAVING FUNCTIONS INCLUDING SCAN FUNCTION, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM FOR EXECUTING CONTROL METHOD
An image processing apparatus that executes jobs in parallel using a small number of resources. A controller includes an image processor that applies an image process to image data. A scanner controller includes storage for storing image data generated by scanning a document with a scanner and transfers the image data stored to the controller through a data bus. A processor executes instructions to set a frequency of an image transfer clock to a first frequency when a first job including a process that transfers image data generated by scanning documents to the controller is executed alone, and set the frequency of the image transfer clock to a second frequency lower than the first frequency when the first job is executed in parallel to a second job including an image process. The frequency of the image transfer clock is maintained at the second frequency until finishing the first job.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS HAVING PLURALITY OF CONVEYANCE MODES
An image forming apparatus includes: an image formation unit configured to form an image on a sheet at a formation position; a circulatory conveyance path for conveying the sheet with the image formed at the formation position on a first side thereof, to the formation position again; a reading unit configured to read the first side of the sheet conveyed through the circulatory conveyance path, and output image information; and a conveyance control unit configured to convey the sheet in one conveyance mode out of a plurality of conveyance modes when the reading unit reads the first side of the sheet, wherein a range, in a conveyance direction, of the sheet that can be read by the reading unit while a conveyance speed of the sheet is constant is different for each of the plurality of conveyance modes.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A document reading apparatus of a printing apparatus includes a document setting unit and a reading unit, the document reading apparatus being provided at a higher position compared to the printing unit, the document setting unit including a supporting surface configured to support a document, the reading unit being configured to read the document conveyed from the document setting unit. The document reading apparatus moves to a reading position and to a retracted position, in which the document reading apparatus is retracted from the reading position. Furthermore, the printing apparatus includes a cover member configured to cover the printing unit. The cover member includes an outer surface configured to support and guide the document together with the supporting surface in a case where the document reading apparatus is at the reading position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming section, a receiving section, and a controller. The image forming section forms a plurality of images on a plurality of sheets. The receiving section receives a print job including a layout format indicating a layout of the images on the sheets. The controller controls the image forming section based on the print job. Each of the images indicates an image expressed by image data of a single page. The print job includes an instruction to form the images on the sheets according to a plurality of mutually different layout formats.
Imaging apparatus and double-sided printing paper conveying unit thereof
The present disclosure provides a double-sided printing paper conveying unit, including a paper conveyor configured to convey paper in a conveying direction, a guiding part configured to guide the paper conveyed by the paper conveyor, an aligner movably mounted on the guiding part, and configured to correct a skew posture of the paper during conveyance in an alignment direction perpendicular to the conveying direction; and a movement mechanism mounted on the guiding part and capable of moving the aligner along the alignment direction and between a first position corresponding to a first size of paper and a second position corresponding to a second size of paper such that the aligner aligns the paper based on a size of the paper. In addition, the present disclosure also provides an imaging apparatus that includes the double-sided printing paper conveying unit.
