A medium discharging device includes a discharging unit which discharges a medium; and a medium receiving tray which receives the medium discharged by the discharging unit, and is switched between an extended state and an accommodated state, in which the medium receiving tray is provided with a base tray, a main extending unit that is accommodated or extended, and at least one sub-extending unit that is accommodated or extended, and in which the base tray forms an accommodating space for accommodating at least the one sub-extending unit, and is provided with a first protrusion portion protruding toward the accommodating space.

An image processing apparatus includes: an image processor; and a hardware processor that converts a read image, obtained by optically reading printed paper, into a file by performing image processing. A content of the image processing, including position adjustment or gradation adjustment, is changed in accordance with an analysis result obtained by analyzing the read image.

Provided is a reading kit including a reading unit configured to read an image of an original being conveyed in a predetermined direction at a predetermined reading position, and a white reference sheet comprising a white reference portion to be read by the reading unit and an engaged portion to be engaged with a positioning member. The white reference portion being arranged at the predetermined reading position by engaging the engaged portion with the positioning member.
Multi-function apparatus
A multi-function apparatus employs an in-body sheet discharge type configuration. The image forming device includes a front door and a multi-purpose tray. The front door is movable between a closed position set along a side surface at one side of a case of the image forming device and an opened position opened at the one side with respect to the side surface. The front door has an opening formed therein. The multi-purpose tray is provided to be selectively located at a non-use state at which the multi-purpose tray closes the opening and an in-use position at which the multi-purpose tray opens the opening. When the front door is located at the closed position and the multi-purpose tray is located at the non-use position, an upper end surface of the multi-purpose tray is exposed upward.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A discharge unit includes a first discharge guide which guides the sheet conveyed by the conveyance guide, a second discharge guide which includes the discharge opening, and guides the sheet guided by the first discharge guide toward the discharge tray, and a discharge roller and a discharge pinch roller which are provided in the second discharge guide. The first discharge guide is rotatable around a first axis which is parallel with an axial direction of the discharge roller. The second discharge guide is connected to the first discharge guide to be rotatable around a second axis which is parallel with the first axis. An angle at which the second discharge guide is inclined with respect to a sheet supporting surface in the discharge tray is constant while the discharge unit is moving from the third position up to the fourth position.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS
An image reading apparatus includes: a supply tray; a discharge tray, which is positioned below the supply tray to support the sheet; a conveyance guide, which conveys the sheet from the supply tray to the discharge tray; a reading sensor, which reads an image on the sheet conveyed on the conveyance guide; a discharge unit, which includes a discharge port to discharge the sheet conveyed by the conveyance guide to the discharge tray and is configured to move from a third position to a fourth position, the fourth position being higher than the third position; a first drive source, which generates a drive force; and a second drive source, which generates a drive force, wherein the movable plate is moved by the drive force from the first drive source, and the discharge unit is moved by the drive force from the second drive source.
Image Reading Apparatus
An image reading apparatus includes: a supply tray, which supports sheets to be supplied and includes a movable plate configured to move from a first position to a second position as the sheet supported by the paper feed tray is decreased, the second position being higher than the first position; a discharge tray; a conveyance guide; a reading sensor; a discharge unit, which includes a discharge opening to discharge the sheet conveyed by the conveyance guide to the discharge tray and is configured to move from a third position to a fourth position as the sheet supported by the paper feed tray is decreased, the fourth position being higher than the third position; and a first drive source, which generates a drive force, wherein the discharge unit is configured to move by receiving the drive force and to transmit the drive force to the movable plate.
Image reading apparatus
An image reading apparatus includes a shooter where a first mounting surface that is inclined with respect to a horizontal plane is formed thereon, a stacker, a supporting unit that movably supports the stacker in such a manner that the stacker is arranged in a first region or a second region, a conveyance unit that conveys a document from the shooter to the stacker when the stacker is arranged in the first region, and a reading unit that reads an image from the document when the document is conveyed by the conveyance unit, wherein a surface area of a region of the first mounting surface that is covered by the stacker when the stacker is arranged in the first region is greater as compared with that when the stacker is arranged in the second region, and the stacker is formed to be capable of being lengthened or shortened.
