FOOD SERVICE MATERIAL DISPENSERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS

Systems for providing on-demand food service material printing for food service are provided herein. A food service material dispenser comprises a roll holder configured to hold a roll of food service material, one or more rollers, and a motor configured to operate to translate the food service material along a path within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a cutting arrangement configured to perform a cut of the food service material to form the sheet of food service material that defines a size associated with a food service order. The dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the food service material that is based on the associated food service order. The dispenser further includes a chute configured to dispense the sheet of food service material, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.

A drive transmission device includes a chassis fixed to an apparatus main body and a driving roller that is driven by a driving source. A belt member transmits rotational force of the driving roller. A tension roller contacts the belt member to apply tension to the belt member. A support member supports the tension roller rotatably and is swingable about a rotational shaft of the chassis. A screw fixes the support member to the chassis at a predetermined position. A retaining member is able to be engaged with the chassis, in which the support member is arranged and fixed between a part of the retaining member and the chassis in an insertion direction of the screw.

Provided is a printer that can appropriately handle a paper (media) wound into a roll with one end of the paper affixed to a core, when the trailing end of the paper is detected, the trailing end of the paper being attached to the winding core in multiple ways. The printer has: a roll paper support that supports the core of a roll of paper; a roll driver that turns the core and delivers the paper; a conveyance device that conveys the delivered paper; a tension detection switch that outputs a first detection value when tension produced on the paper delivered from the roll is greater than or equal to a threshold; and a controller that drives the roll driver in the direction delivering the paper when the output of the tension detection switch changes to the first detection value in response to rotation of the core.

Technology enabling correctly detecting that paper has been delivered from a paper roll to the trailing end A printer has an inkjet head; a roll paper support; a delivery motor configured to rotate the roll paper supported by the roll paper support; a guide member configured to guide roll paper conveyed from the paper roll; and a detection switch disposed to a position where it detects the conveyed roll paper when the delivery point on the circumference of the paper roll moves to the part of the circumference of the roll on the same side of an imaginary line as the guide member; the delivery point being from which the conveyed roil paper separates from the roil when the paper roll turns; and the imaginary line being tangent to the guide member and passing through the center of the roll.

Method for scheduling printing of digital images from at least one input roll to at least one output roll in a roll-to-roll printing system

A method for printing digital images on at least one input roll of media in order to form at least one output roll by means of a roll-to-roll printing system is disclosed. The roll-to-roll printing system includes a digital image queue including an entry for each digital image to be printed. The method includes registering in an entry of the digital image queue a first digital item identifying the digital image and digital items of print properties of the digital image, printing the digital image according to the order of the entry in the digital image queue, and registering in the entry a second digital item identifying an input roll on which the digital image is going to be printed and a third digital item identifying an output roll on which the printed digital image is going to be wound. A roll-to-roll printing system is configured to apply the method.
